Why the RUSH on ObamaCare

Listening to a Liar

No doubt millions of people will be listening to the words of President Barack Obama Wednesday night when he makes a televised address to a joint session of Congress on his medical care plans. But, if they think that the words he says are what matters, they can be led into something much worse than being swindled out of their money.

One plain fact should outweigh all the words of Barack Obama and all the impressive trappings of the setting in which he says them: He tried to rush Congress into passing a massive government takeover of the nation's medical care before the August recess— for a program that would not take effect until 2013!

Whatever President Obama is, he is not stupid. If the urgency to pass the medical care legislation was to deal with a problem immediately, then why postpone the date when the legislation goes into effect for years— more specifically, until the year after the next Presidential election?

If this is such an urgently needed program, why wait for years to put it into effect? And if the public is going to benefit from this, why not let them experience those benefits before the next Presidential election?

Very good question and the same can be said of the so called "stimulus" and I doubt the libbies on board can reasonably answer it.

Do you really think a massive program can be implemented in a week? How long did Medicare take to start, when the population was much smaller than it is today?

Also, calling it "Obamacare" is a misnomer. The President has not proposed a plan. He left that up to Congress.

Read Sowell's comments MP! The question is: If it won't be implemented until 2013 why did Obama insist it be passed before the August recess? So the American people would not find out he was going to take over the medical industry. So the elderly would not find out he intends to cut Medicare and ration care, an insidious form of euthanasia.

Why push for health care improvement now? Well, people like you blocked it in 1993 when President Clinton proposed something similar. That was 16 years ago. Nothing has happened since. I SAY WE DON'T WAIT ANOTHER 16 YEARS TO DO SOMETHING. Of course you don't want to help the needy EVER. I can see why you want to not "rush into it."

Just how much care do you demonstrate for the needy "whoever"? It is a fact that the mongers of leftist lies give little to nothing for relief to the needy.

I hope that people like me will always strive to block the attempts to convert this country into the United Socialist States of America. You leftists are willing to sell your soul to Satan to gain your desire, even supporting the party that endorses the continued slaughter of the unborn and now wants to extend that slaughter to the elderly, but slowly, by withholding medical treatment and in some cases food.

You have shown by your repeated posts "whoever" that your heart is as big as your brain.

To give you back a little of your "you don't want to help the needy"...

You are only interested in national health care because you want something for nothing.

Try working - it can be very satisfying to earn the things that you want.

I think he'll give the Republicans time to stew and make a fool of themselves before the plan kicks in. By that time they will be running through the streets and holding tea parties declaring the end of the world as we know it (whoops, I guess they're doing that now). That or he knows it will take time to implement all the changes and to allow people and companies to comply.

But I'm not a "monger of socialist lies" so your carefully thought out conclusion doesn't appy to me.

After your exodus you should be able to come up with something better than the tripe posted above.

Based on your posts here I have questions about your beliefs.

To remove any doubt: I am a true believer in Jesus Christ and have been saved by His Grace. I am a true believer in the inerrancy of Scripture in its original autographs. Furthermore, I believe that the KJV is the most reliable interpretation of Scripture in the English language. I am also a true believer in the strict interpretation of the Constitution which gave us limited Federal Government.

And I might add "whoever" that I believe you have bought into my suggestion that you get banned and come back as "A Truther"!

Just to add a little. I believe the left wing of the democrat party is joined at the hip with the ACLU, ACORN, George Soros, and the Satanic humanism of Marx.

I repeat the OP because the question " Why the RUSH on ObamaCare" is more important than ever after Obama's campaign speech last night. And Joe Wilson was correct. Obama lies when convenient and it seems to be continually convenient with him.
