Well that may be “Jewish tradition”, but Jesus talked of His time in the grave, as a literal 3 days and 3 nights, just as Jonah was literally 3 days and 3 nights in the whale’s belly.“No, we can't agree. Christ was not in the grave a literal 72 hours. By Jewish traditional Jewish observation, part of a day is considered a day. So he died on Friday (day 1), was in the grave on Saturday (day 2) and rose on Sunday (day 3).”
