We can do ALL things through Christ (that He wants us to do), and that includes winning the victory over sin and addictions. No sin or addiction is more powerful than God.

OK show me one testimony

You are talking to someone who was once an alcoholic and has been cured by God.

You don't need to believe me though. Believe the Bible:

Is any thing too hard for the LORD?

Genesis 18:14a

I find it rather absurd that you won't believe that God can work miracles unless you are given a testimony. How in the world do you believe anything in the Bible? Oh, ye of little faith.

So you can have a few cocktails with me & not get drunk?

No, God has worked in my life to take away the desire to even drink alcohol, so I wouldn't ever drink with you.

Also, you better watch what you say. You've just equated getting drunk to being an alcoholic. Are you seriously trying to tell us that everyone that gets drunk is an alcoholic?

I'd also like for you to answer the Scripture:

Is any thing too hard for the LORD?

No one thinks that a lost person can give up a habit? I know plenty who did and do. But they're still lost.

Praise the Lord  :praying:

Matt, I do have a serious question for your.
Do you know who Bob Harrington is? He was a SBC evangalist who would witness in the bars on Bourbon Street in New Orleans.

Since you are recovered, would you ever even consider a ministry such as Bob Harrington had?

Thanks, Salty

I'd also like for you to answer the Scripture:

While God is indeed sovereign & can work any anything, I have been around too many alcoholics in my life to not be skeptical of any that tell me that they are no longer alcoholics.

So in-other words your indicating that this is one of those signs & wonders & the Holy Spirit has used you as a selected one & your miraculously healed.

Now they can test that through brain scans that can detect alcoholic service areas. Tell you what, you go get one of those & some authorized medical document testifying to your claim & then I will believe you. OK?
