Oops. I answered disagree, blatantly false, thinking I was answering regarding the prosperity gospel. Yes, the prosperity gospel is blatantly false and I disagree with it.

Piper conveying the damnable heresies of charismatics. Those who embrace these folks, that themselves name the Name of Christ, to me are just as guilty for not condemning their teachings.

Count me among the number who strongly disagree with prosperity gospel.
Money given in order to receive an even greater amount of money back is a sad misunderstanding of the scripture, the nature of God, and the teaching of the Apostles.

Prosperity gospel is just another way that people think that money can but happiness or salvation. Neither is possible.
Someone forgot to tell Paul about this "prosperity gospel".
Three times I was beaten with rods, once I was stoned, three times I was shipwrecked, a night and a day I have spent in the deep. 26I have been on frequent journeys, in dangers from rivers, dangers from robbers, dangers from my countrymen, dangers from the Gentiles, dangers in the city, dangers in the wilderness, dangers on the sea, dangers among false brethren; 27I have been in labor and hardship, through many sleepless nights, in hunger and thirst, often without food, in cold and exposure.

I totally agree with the video, but there also needs to be a point made here. While this may cause some to be upset it is none the less true. In most Baptist churches they actually preach a form of the prosperity gospel. Certainly not as blatant as in the video but they still do it. In fact where I attend they do it and in every Baptist church that I have ever been in they have done it.
Here is what I mean. I cannot tell you how many times I have heard in a message when trying to get the people to give it is said or alluded to that if we give God will bring the increase and return what we have given many fold. That is the prosperity gospel also.
Or I have heard pastors teach that if we do not give our 10th that God will get it another way which is also false. So while I feel the great need to expose those who blatantly spread this false doctrine of giving to get or be blessed I also feel that the subtle proclaiming of the same needs to be brought to light and it is in the Baptist church as well. Any form of coercion or pressure from the pulpit to give with any promise or suggestion of favor or threat instead of simply stating what scripture says, to be a cheerful giver giving as the Lord has prospered without any prescribed or suggested amount or percent is nothing but a form of prosperity gospel and or legalism.

My daughter got a phone call from one of the ministries which teaches this stuff.
Send us a seed gift, the caller said, and God will reward you you tenfold.

Mr. Wade is referring to the concept that God is the ultimate cause of everything, even evil things, calamities, etc.
He is a recent "convert".
@freeatlast: you are absolutely correct, which reminds one of the fact that pointing a finger at somebody's fault causes at least three fingers to point back at the pointing accuser.
That is not to say it is okay to preach a prosperity gospel. I don't like it very much (and that's putting it mildly) when a "reverend" "reverending" it over a big church, has other "reverends" visiting him and the main "reverend" stands (facile and smug if you ask me) in front of his "giving and loving" congregation to ask them to give the biggest denomination or currency they have in their their wallets to the offering plate for the visiting "reverends" with smaller, "reverended" congregations' building and other needs, and God will surely give back twice, even thrice, of those big denominations back to them "in His own time" (which could be the loser's lifetime), and then conclude the prosperity gospel with a preaching from either Matthew 8:20 or Luke 9:58, in their expensive jackets and glittering gold rings, cuff links, or tie pins and their Bally shoes.
I hope it's not happening in the States, I'm describing something that occured in the Philippines.

Hallelujah to the Lamb of God, give Him praise and glory !!

That is correct. My teacher, Luke, has taught me that God is the cause of all things. So, God is the cause of the prosperity gospel.
I say we all do a test....... to see if it's right of course. And be certain to include my arguments like that of Jospeh- "You meant it for evil but GOD MEANT IT for good."
Ultimate cause- different motive.

It's a tremendous video for any who have not yet seen it.

Well, it's obvious failed to speak those positive things he should have. He didn't name it and claim it, blab it and grab it or command Satan to leave him alone. He did wrong when he asked God to remove his thorn in the flesh. And God would have removed it if Paul had said the right words--such as commanding it to go.
And think how stupid Paul was not to take money for his ministry. He could have been rich.
