Once we have received Christ, the Holy Spirit comes to indwell us...
Are we at that point beings with a dual nature, both our original sinful nature with new nature in Christ, or did 'replace out" our old sinful nature with the new nature "In Christ" ?
17Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
8So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
9But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
one nature
6Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

[QUOTE6Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him...
....and that is why sin will never be [eternally] imputed to us. However, we as redeemed, born from above children are still carrying that old dead body around with us throughout this temporal realm. We can and DO sow to the flesh.

Amen!!!
(Gal 5:17) For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
17Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
18For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
19For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
20Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
21I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
22For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
23But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
24O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
25I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
