Has God EVER had Anything other Then faith As means/way To save?

Weren't even Adam and Eve under 'saved by faith" as they had to believe in what God told them regarding the Fruit in the garden?

They weren't "saved by faith" before the fall, because they were perfect, unblemished by sin, until that ole snake came along!! Grrrrr!!
