I noticed during a church meeting tonite that exactly half of the men didn't wear a wedding ring.

Do you wear a wedding ring?

When I got married I was an electrician. Rings are a hazzard. I never got used to wearing it.
A list of other reasons (excuses)
I'm working on it. I wear it more than I used to.

I always wear mine when out of the house, except if I'm doing some kind of hard work or playing sports where it might be a hazard.

In 32 years, mine has been off my hand just once. I had gall bladder surgery last summer and the hospital folks insisted the ring was coming off. I had it resized while it was off in anticipation of the next 30 years....

Neither my wife or I wear a ring.

We are in health care and are constantly washing our hands.

I've never worn it for any significant lenght of time even when out of the hospital... I'm not into jewelry.

Mine hangs from a chain around my neck. I have put it on when I perform weddings. It did catch it early on whilst working a lathe, and I think that is when I removed it from my finger.

Cheers,

Jim

Due to weight loss, I had to get my ring resized. Fits perfectly. I wear it all the time now. I can't remember the last time I took it off.

Funny story: The family was picking out a Christmas tree at Home Depot a few years back. We got it loaded in the truck and we were driving home when I suddenly sensed that my wedding ring was no longer on my finger. It was lost! Panicked, we returned to Home Depot and started searching around the Christmas trees. After a few minutes of searching I found it laying on the floor of their outdoor garden area in between sections of Christmas trees. It wasn't exactly out in the open but it wasn't hidden either. Whew! That's when I decided to have it resized.

I wear mine all the time unless scuba diving. I have a more ornate wedding ring that I wear most of the time but a plain (cheap) ring i wear on mission trips.

I wear mine all the time for two reasons.
#1: My wife wants me to.
#2: I don't want to be jumped by single women.

From experience I found the ring tends to attract them :D Must think we are "safe" or are presented with a challenge. Had a woman offer to buy me a drink a couple days after I got home from MY HONEYMOON. Told the bartender this, and he came back and replied "she doesn't care". I told him to tell her "I do" (and I wasn't repeating my wedding vow :)

Gee, Webdog and Sag38, how do you guys stay so humble?

I voted yes by the way. I've never been one to wear rings or watches of any kind, but I'm thankful for the wife the Lord has blessed me with, and wear it for that reason.

No, my wife never bought me one! :tear: ...Well, I never liked wearing jewelry of any kind, especially on my hands since I've worked with them so intensely, and might have said as much. (Yeah, long before we got married...like a 1/4 century ago!) Maybe my wife knew this beforehand  but if I "did" have one I'm sure I would put it in the little drawer on top on my dresser and maybe enjoy looking at it once in a while. But I don't have one... nope, wasn't even sincerely asked if I wanted one...taken for granted, I am... Boy! I could ride this one out if she ever "decided" to ask me "if" I wanted one. Thanks for the question...
