If satan does something, is it wrong to say "God did it."?

Satan took Job's family and possession, and yet he says "The Lord has taken away." These verses seem to say that if satan does some harm to us, it is NOT A SIN to say "God has done this."

Keep in mind that God is not culpable when it comes to evil.

James 1:13 13 Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am being tempted by God"; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone.

God allows evil/sin to run its course as part of His eternal plan, but He is not the author of evil/sin.

And the Lord sent an evil spirit to torment King Saul!

God can either directly use them, or else permit them to do their thing, always under His control and authority though!

Think that the hebrew mindset is to see God behind and in control of all things that happen!

The bible is clear that God takes responsibility for all things yet He is not necessarily held responsible for the actions that another does. A seeming paradox. In the case of satan God does not accept the consequences of satans actions, period. satan himself will bare all the consequences while God holds the responsibility, again a seeming paradox.

In the case of man God does take the responsibility and consequences of man's actions if the person gets saved. The consequences being put on Christ at the cross. I think it would be dangerous to go around making statements to people that God is responsible for everything that happens, even though based on the bible it looks to be true, as many people would misunderstand and excuse themselves for what they do. By the way many do exactly that today by claiming the phrases "no one is perfect" or no one can keep the commandments."
