    Agreed. His poorly written and enumerous threads are waxing old. Nearly every one is poorly thought out, and typically do not make much sense.

    I think he needs to slow down and think about what he wants to say, and then get the wording of it down before he posts. There is generally no substance in the OP, just a random and cursory question/"thought" with a misspelled thread title.

    The excuse that it is done through a smartphone is no excuse. Do it correctly and concisely, or just don't do it at all.

    It just gets old to see this over and over again.

    :rolleyes:

    How is that different from an Arminian? Do we have any Arminians on the board?

    We have some non-Baptist members who might describe themselves as Evangelical Arminians.

    Wouldn't both DHk/Skandilion fall under this type of non cal?

    NOT saying that in a bad way, as actually based on what I read on their web site, seemed like best NON cal option to hold to!

    I had not seen that. They actually hold to the view that one can lose of give up their salvation?

    I Peter 1:5 who by God's power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

    Scripture says we are kept by God. They say we must keep ourselves.

    But they would say that ONLY those who denied their faith, apostates, would ever actually lose Christ and eternal life!

    As explained several times before, I don't mind using this label for simplicity at times, but most non-Cals don't like any of the man-centered type labels due to the direct instruction of scripture apposing such. I do affirm perseverance, and so did Arminius for the most part. He did have questions about it, but always still seemed to affirm it.

    Exactly, I would add that more times than not it is a pejorative rather than a tool for clarity.

    :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

    A fact that is often overlooked or worse ignored about those "arminians". Arminius himself was ambivalent about perseverance, but most indications seem to suggest that he himself leaned toward perseverance.

    Article V — That those who are incorporated into Christ by a true faith, and have thereby become partakers of his life-giving spirit, have thereby full power to strive against Satan, sin, the world, and their own flesh, and to win the victory, it being well understood that it is ever through the assisting grace of the Holy Ghost; and that Jesus Christ assists them through his Spirit in all temptations, extends to them his hand; and if only they are ready for the conflict, and desire his help, and are not inactive, keeps them from falling, so that they, by no craft or power of Satan, can be misled, nor plucked out of Christ's hands, according to the word of Christ, John x. 28: "Neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand." But whether they are capable, through negligence, of forsaking again the first beginnings of their life in Christ, of again returning to this present evil world, of turning away from the holy doctrine which was delivered them, of losing a good conscience, of becoming devoid of grace, that must be more particularly determined out of the Holy Scriptures before they can teach it with the full persuasion of their minds
