Actually no it isn't. This debate forum sharpens iron and while there are those who will not budge from there points of view. We have to remember that for faith to be strong it cannot waver. No one wants a false faith or to be known as having one.
I hope you won't stay away but learn to allow hurtful things to run off you like water off a duck's back. There are winners on both sides. The prize is self control.

I've definitely been guilty of going overboard at times, but when I realize my sin, I apologize to that person publicly, but I never get the satisfaction of others apologizing to me for "going WAY to far" in trying to make their point better than my point. That is not what the Bible teaches, and this board needs to clean up the "bullying" that others call "debating!"

I NEVER said I was innocent, but I'm far from the personal, character assassination attacks, where certain people try to demean my life time accomplishments.

...However, if you can show me how comments like this are "sharpening the the iron, I'd be a happy person.

"If I were to try and commit character assassination, I would bring up things like self published books, who's who lists, and a litany of other things...but I'm not doing that . "

And: "This is the "Baptist Theology & Bible Study" debate forum. Not the "Dude's Opinion on Getting His Feelings Hurt Forum".

Or, "Here we go again. Another post from the Dude after he's gotten his feelings hurt by someone."

This is more like "sticking" the dull iron in someone's heart. This is not debating; it is demeaning another and not reflective of debating or how we as Christians should treat one another.

Bro, these are matts tactics, personal attacks and inflammatory comments. You can report these things you know, up to mods to do something about it. I think he's non-cal, thus it rides on through? You have to realize there is something in his past that causes him him to react this way, say and do these things. Pray for him, it's Biblical to do so.

Of course none of this is debating. This thread wasn't opened for a debate. It was opened so that you could whine about how another poster hurt your feelings.

Oh, I tried to reply to your PM, but your storage quota was exceeded. I just wanted to let you know that I enjoy your veiled threats to contact my Pastor (whom you called by name) and let him know about my posts on this board. If you want to contact him, that's up to you. I'm not ashamed of anything I have posted on here and don't mind if he knows about them. I will warn you however, that I would consider it an invasion of my private life and you will regret it.
