I have 7 of his books, listen to him everyday and think the world of him. Why is it that many ignore him?

Since when did Bob jones universtiy become fundamentalist. Bob Jones university is known for their racist views.

Events of 10 years ago have been renounced by them. There is no evidence of racism at BJU or at least not in my church or any BJU church I have been in. This was off topic. I should remove the mention of BJU.

You asked a question. MY point was if your church is associated with that university and does not understand they are racist and have never apologize for what they did or who they did it to and if Lutzer associates with them then maybe that is ther answer to your question.

Question was a general question about Lutzer. I edited my OP.

I don't think he is ignored. He is well respected by most people who know him. He is thoroughly Biblical.

He's not the flashy kind of guy. Moody church is not exactly a cutting edge church. Now that makes me like him even more, but his book and study series "5 Minutes after you die" is outstanding.

Excellent post and question. More people should tune into his program, he is very enlightening and very knowledgable also. As far as Dr. Lutzer being a being "fundamentalist" I am not certain about that as he is normally referred to as an evangelical.

I'm not sure why he is not as popular as some others, or as well known. The fact is he is an excellent preacher. He is very concise in his statements, and I do enjoy him a lot.

I wish he'd get an android app though, as he only has one for the iphone at this point. By the way, you can get his podcasts and archived messages here:

I also enjoy his "Ask Pastor Lutzer" ending of his program. He answers some tough questions at times, and is very gracious in doing so.

- Peace

One minute after you die is the best book I have read on the topic of death. You are correct its outstanding. I also agree that maybe not being flashy and not being cutting edge will you get you ignored as in Lutzer is not invited to speak at discernment conferences when he wrote clearly the best book in print on the topic of discernment.

You're welcome.

I'm glad to hear another brother that enjoys him.

I am not sure if you are aware, but he is also on here:

www.bottradionetwork.com

I am not sure if this is available in your area via radio, but it is available everywhere online, and there is also an app for android and iphone. He is on @ 2EST.
