Just Curious on the thoughts about what happened to the Ark of the Covenant

Just watched a National Geographic program on the Ark, and of course it was much centered on sensationalism about the "magical powers" of the ark.

Personally, I feel the Ark was most likely pillaged and melted down for gold by the Babylonians.

What are some other thoughts?

After killing a bunch of Nazis it was crated up and carted off to an unknown warehouse deep in the Nevada desert.

Or...it will never be found...I prefer the Nazi killing option ;)

Harrison Ford sold it to Carl Sagan who wanted to see if he could find the missing 'God particle' brought to earth by aliens. After that turned out to be a dead-end lead, I think Carl abandoned his plan to also have his ashes transported back into space in the ark after his death and, instead, sold it on E-Bay for money to buy more vodka. (Possibly?)

I would like to know what happened to the garden of Eden and the cherubim that guarded the entrance. Where did they go?

Is it possible the Ark of the Covenant is still buried somewhere? and at the appropriate time the Lord will lead someone to find it?

Certainly possible, some "experts" believe that it might be buried somewhere under the Temple Mount, others suspect caves in Palestine, and others have suggested the Valley of the Kings.

Revelation 11:19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

The Ark of the Covenant has become the Ark of the Old Covenant. Where it is would be interesting to know, but I have a New Covenant.

:)

It is in heaven now:

"And the temple of God which is in heaven was opened; and the ark of His covenant appeared in His temple, and there were flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder and an earthquake and a great hailstorm." Revelation 11:19

"Jesus took the Ark of the Covenant with Him at His ascension." Or at least that is what I had one person tell me at a church I spoke at. I asked him how he came to such a conclusion, he told me that it's just something he believes.

This was the verse that immediately came to my mind, I just couldn't remember which verse it was. I really do believe that the Ark of the Covenant is there now.

Hey. man! I was just kidding about the ark of the covenant floating Carl Sagan into space to be reunited with his precious thoughts.
