Ron Pauls Secret Weapon

Ron Paul is the only true conservative Republican in the race. The rest are either neocons or warmongering Christian Zionists.

Yes especially when you get to define the terms. But we have had "neocon" presidents right from the early days. Should we give back Florida to Spain since Jackson had no authority to take it? Interventionism!

As much as you might like to pretend otherwise, the US has never gone to war for Israel.

The USA is going the way of the Roman Empire, and the militarism of the neocons and Zionists is one reason.

All this warmongering is diametrically opposite to the teachings of Jesus.

Yes, I am all for national defense, but we have gone far, far beyond that!

Well the Romans conquered and ruled most of Western Europe, the British Isles, Spain, France, Greece, the Middle East, North Africa...Let me know when the US does likewise and I'll start worrying.

After we defeated Germany in WWII, we have occupied that country ever since.

No we haven't!!! Occupation ended c 1950. Since that time the US military has been guests of Germany and subject to her laws. Think SOFA

When you overstate your position, like you obviously have here, you lose credibility.

I have overstated nothing and lost nothing.

The US is 5% of the world's population and accounts for 50% of the world's military spending. If anything, I understated my position.

And you wonder why I call Paul a liberal...

As the candidate Obama could beat the easiest, he is the darling of liberals that have no liberal to vote for in their own primary.

Liberal Fallon won’t be a Republican long, but he’s done being a Democrat

Tony Leys

One of the quirkiest things to happen in last night’s caucuses was that Ed Fallon became a Republican.

Fallon, a former state representative and outspoken Des Moines liberal, switched to a Republican affiliation so he could take part in his neighborhood caucus at Edmunds School. “Later today, I’m going to go to the election office to remedy that problem,” he said this morning.

Similar scenes were played out all over Iowa. Paul's Iowa numbers are contrived.

One thing I've seen on forums is that "Christians" can be some of the nastiest, hateful people on earth.

Gandhi said, "I like your Christ. I do not like your Christians. They are so unlike your Christ."

One doesn't have to look far to see examples of this.

At least you have a sense of humor. I can deal with that. :)

I wasn't being nasty to you, sorry if you took it that way. I have dealt with so many people who whine about our country and how bad, unfair, etc., etc., it is that that is my stock answer. I HAVE lived in another country. And yes, I still kissed the ground when I came back to the USA. It's not heaven, and it's not perfect, but it's still the best country in the world. Even the world thinks so even if they don't like us.

One of the things that makes it so great is that we allow people to debate and disagree without being thrown out of the country or into jail- for the most part, anyway.

I should also have known that was coming. That's an unwarranted attack.

I love the Jews. Zionism as well as Christian Zionism is a political movement.

Copout.

Anti -zionism has it's roots in anti-semitism.

Maybe you should join Islam. They are expert ant-semites. Then you could stop hiding behing a phony anabaptist label, with "celtic" influence.

Oh, no, I wasn't directing my comments at you. And I do love the USA; that's why I get sad when we drift away from our Constitution.

I think you and I probably have more common ground than not.
