I heard back from the HR department and they were not specific as they beat around the bush. But they told me to look for work elsewhere. I tell you that the squabble I had with them was due to one of their staff members who was promoting an anti-semitac video on her facebook page. I exposed this individual which angered some in that organization which they called harassment. However no law nor police was involved and when I asked one, I was told that they were as far as possible from so called harassment. It was all in their heads. What they termed to be harassment was not harassment under any state or local definition.

My only error was that I made it public when I should have went to her pastor. However after I did go to them, they completely overlooked her offense, and focused on me, me and me. They seem to see nothing wrong with anti-semitism.

I have heard Ray Comfort open air preach, expose sin, and use the gospel to convict the transgressor. Another buddy of mine (whom is big on Paul Washer) has gone after this school as well. I wonder if I should do the same. I am not sure yet. I need to pray and pray and pray. This school has a very negative reputation with the city where I live, and everytime I go and do street evangelism and identified with them, I am always pinpointed as a racist.

If I may ask, Just what do you mean by anti-Semitic - how are they racist? The use of the term "anti" anything is very worldly which is why I never use it, but I digress.

You leave it up to the Holy Spirit to convict your brothers and sisters in Christ, and as for you? Take joy, satisfaction and peace knowing that God is conforming you in the image and likeness of Jesus Christ.

Keep your focus on God; not them or yourself. Pick up your cross my friend. It is Christ who completes you and He is all you need. If God is pleased with you and if ALL your self worth and security is found in Him, then who cares what others think of you.

Move on. You are dwelling on this place way too much. It's simply time to realize they don't want you to work there, so move on.

Well in her facebook profile there was a video of a man who made a number of racist remarks about Jewish people.

Yeah I may say something, but that may be it. God opens and closes doors. He appears not to want me there for good reason. I am reconstrcuting my Resume to not market the job and education I got there in the open.

They had a number of interesting jobs and why I applied. But God does not want me there for good reason.

I agree with Matt about moving on. But not sure what you mean by reconstructing your resume. Any employer is going to zero in on any blank spots and search out those who hired you for a recommendation.

Another question about this whole thing is did you really think confronting them was going to get you a job? :BangHead:

The resume I choose what I put on it. I have not confronted them on this issue. In 2009 I confronted her which was right. Discrimination on the matters or race and color is a violation of the civil rights act. They should not allow employes to post that garbage openly on FaceBook or another social media. She had hosted that garbage for sometime and no one gave a rat about it until I said something. I had 2 staff members saying that it was "not racist" and I challenged them to play that video in a staff meeting or chapel and see the reaction. I never got a response.

I edited my resume. Applications are different as I have to list everything but the resume I market it. Its over with…. I may reply to their email and mention this which would be right. But I am gonna word my words with grace and truth.

Let's get something clear here. A business has no legal right or requirement to police someone's personal facebook page. I honestly think it's a bit of an invasion of the person's privacy for you to look at their facebook page and then complain to their employer about it.

If you went and complained to my employer about something I did on my personal time, we'd have a big issue.

But promotion of racist material is not right. I have done a bit of open air preaching about this sin and will continue to do so. This is not right to promote that material and then claim to represent Christ!

Plenty of open air evangelists and street evangelists have spoken out about this sin!

I agree that it isn't right. That doesn't mean that you go and tell someone's employer about it.

You also seem to have an obsession with telling us how much you open air preach. You've mentioned several times on threads that you want to go to a place of business (or former employer) and "open air preach" about the some particular thing that they made you mad about.

I think you may be confused about open air preaching. It isn't about trying to call someone out about some personal offense to you. I've never seen Ray Comfort (he seems to be your hero) open air preach and bring up specific things that he feels they did to personally wrong him.

Preaching is about bringing people to Christ. Preaching is to point people to the way of salvation. It's not about your personal agendas and vendettas.

I have heard over 100 hours of Way of the Master radio and heard many many many good open air sermons that expose sin. However its all done in a street evangelism context which to date has been my pattern. My feelings tell me to open air against individuals, but the Holy Spirit cant justify it. My open air sermons has all been in a street context to date.

Oh and I disagree about the racism. Its wrong to be a staff member of a Christian university and promote that. Its actually in the staff handbook on matters of conduct. She did get in trouble for what she did. However the vendetta against me stayed in her spirit and that of her friends whom write me up to attack me.

But speaking the truth has never been popular. Standing for what is right is never popular but it must be done.

The IP is about an employee problem in Japan????

This thread, another example of people working without a union contract.

Forgive, forgive, forget, forgive, and then forgive some more. Love overcomes all. Give grace and mercy, they know not what they do.

I'd put a few bucks in Luke2427's offering plate and let him take care of it.

He could singlehandedly "demolish" their hypocrisy and 'obliterate" their heretic thinking.

It Figures....

This is seems to be typical of today's HR departments. If your employer is large enough to have a HR department, then it is probably going to be politically corrupt. If you are not a team player (and willing to do as told without questioning), you are not going to be the popular employee, in upper management eyes.

In 1994, I reported another supervisor for calling one of her clerical subordinates a "n----r" on numerous occasions(she was black). Our regional manager did nothing, aso I escalated it to our EEO in Sacramento (I worked for State Social Services), and when the smoke settled, that supervisor was allowed to retire with a party (even after openly threatening to kill that clerical employee for filing a complaint).

The regional manager was promoted to another, more important position, and me, along with the other six emloyees (who joined in on the EEO complaint, and were in the clerical union), were systematically forced out of the department over a period of six years. I was not in a union, as middle management did not have that option.

At first glance I didn't want to believe that the groups that joined in on the EEO complaint were being selected and pressured to leave the department, but after the third person was forced to retire, I became concerned. Even though I watched my back, I believe I became a victim of retaliation, too!

I was the last person forced out, by way of medical retirement, which came after my new regional manager arbitrarily pulled all my Reasonable Accommodations, forcing me to reapply for them, and while I went through the process, he made it nearly impossible to do my job within the designated time frames. My reviews( which he gave me every 60 days) relfected continued poor performance. The 60 day reviews were usually used for problem employees and were used in corrective action.

I am truly sorry to hear of your disappointment, but, if misery loves company, join the club. There seems to be very little justice, as well as personal respect, morals and values in todays work place. :type:

The same standards applied to me, just be applied to them as well.

And just why is it that you think you have some dominion over others that says you get to decide how others should act?

The title of your thread is "How should I respond to wrong doings?" Start by humbling yourself.

You want some open air preaching? You want some truth that someone can't stand? Start with yourself.

Everything I read from you says that you believe you're entitled to a job with those people. Guess what? I find in the scripture that we shouldn't ask for what we think we're "entitled" to; we might just get exactly what we actually are entitled to, and it ain't a bed of roses.

All this way of the master stuff? Have you tried preaching it to a mirror?
