This was discussed quite a bit, do you really need to ask the question? Go back and re-read the other threads. We don't need new ones.

ROFL....yes, yea your right there.....bottom line is John 5:13, " That you (who believe on the Son of God) might know that you have entered eternal life"

Now here is the real test question.... Do they love one another? "We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the bretheren."

Sometimes it bears repeating my brothers & sisters :smilewinkgrin:

John....in all sincerity, don't you think you could castigated the guy in private rather than possibly embarrassing him publicly? What are you thinking?

Sorry, but if he had asked me a dumb question in private, I would have answered him in private. But he didnt, he asked it in an open thread he started and he asked for responses...this was mine.

Little uncalled for. No reason to call someone "dumb." And if you really "hate to call a brother in Christ a name" you wouldn't have done it. May want to edit your post.

I could edit my post, but his OP question would still be dumb...cant change that.

John

what is amusing is that sometimes the answers that the OP provoke out of/from others here reflect MUCH MORE on them !

rather then on me.....

Seems that folks tend to just get "bothered" by the petty things at times!

That He would be both to all saved by Him, regardless IF we actually have 'Lordship salvation" views or not?

As are all your questions they bait with statements that are based on your understanding which is contrary to scripture. The OP question is as follows;
Isn't Jesus BOTH Saviour AND Lord To All Christians .period?”
The answer is is absolutely. However because you mean something not stated based on the post itself the answer becomes impossible to give as a yes or no. Here is your OP statement;
That He would be both to all saved by Him, regardless IF we actually have 'Lordship salvation" views or not?”

That is how you bait almost all your questions with false premises. The truth is that unless a person receives Jesus as Lord they do not get Him as Saviour. He is not saving people who remain in rebellion to who He is and He is Lord. So the correct answer is yes Jesus is Lord and Saviour of all Christians, but unless the person receives Him as Lord He is not their Saviour and they are not Christians.

Nyaah...what's up DaC...lol, just kidding.

Judging by some of the responses, it seems that the Lordship of Christ is optional. We can deny His Lordship and talk to each other as we choose.

Concerning starting a thread on a subject that has already been discussed, I see no problem with that, it may be that some members may have been tied up in other threads and not had opportunity to get in on the ground floor of another, so I would suggest that you not be worried about starting a new thread just because it has already been discussed. It is best to start at the beginning, rather than jumping in after it has been discussed by others.

As far as the "Lordship Salvation" controversy, it is just that...a controversy, and we all know "controversy sells."

That some would think that Christ is not both Lord and Christ is remarkable, but...I have to confess in my own walk I am learning to submit to Him, as we all do. However, we do not make Christ Lord and Savior, He is Lord and Savior, despite the level of our obedience to Him.

So, my advice is this: do not stop asking question, as there is more to be learned than just the answer to the question, and you never know what another brother or sister can contribute to our understanding of a particular issue.

I would guess that there is something concerning this that has not been answered to your satisfaction, if that is the case, try to state what that might be.

God bless.

I hate to call a brother in Christ a name.....but brother, you are just dumb.

How many more stupid questions/threads can you come up with?

We all need spiritual healing, but you honestly need MENTAL healing.

Dude, get a grip

John
I did not read the replies until now, but this is just evil to the core and totally uncalled for. It would be different to point out inconsistency and or repetitiveness, but this is over the top. This brother simply asked a question, even though asked many times before, and you slander and belittle him and in doing so you belittle the Lord not to mention yourself. Just bad taste. :(
