What are some good picks? I am doing a study and will look into the devil in both a academic and practical standpoint. I am not focusing on "Satanism" per say, but more on the devil himself. I am gonna use Erwin Lutzers masterpiece "The serpent of Paradise" and Warren Wiersbe's book "The Strategy of Satan." I also may make use of David Jeremiah book on Angel's, Hank Hanegraaf's book called the Covering, and a chapter in a book by Josh McDowell. However Lutzer, and Wiersbe's will be my focus books.

There are two books that I recommend.
Satan Cast out (a Study in Biblical Demonology) by Frederick S. Leahy, published by Banner of Truth (ISBN 0 85151 234 8).

The Christian Warfare by D. M. Lloyd-Jones (Banner of Truth ISBN 0 85151 243 7). This is part of Lloyd-Jones' great exposition of Ephesians. When he came to Eph 6, he peached 26 sermons on verses 10-13 in which he covered almost every aspect of 'the Wiles of the devil' in a very practical and helpful way.
