Does God call all mankind or just his elect?
My point being, that just because man doesnt respond to God doesnt mean God doesnt make the offer.
John
He called all mankind, but only a few answer the call.
Like at BJ's and Sam's Club. They have all of those free samples of food on the weekends. It is offered freely to everyone that will accept it. But most dont want any.

I apologize if this offends you but from my prospective, that concept of God makes Him very week & ineffective. He is either your Savior or He is not.
Apart from the bad analogy. How so?
Does God call all mankind or just his elect?
God only calls his elect. All of the elect are the "many called". The few chosen are those that the Holy Spirit has opened their eyes to see the truth of what Christ accomplished on the cross. Matt 7:13-14 relates to this fact. God's elect go in both the wide gate and the strait gate. The elect that go in the wide gate are those who are believing their good works will save them eternally and those that go in the strait gate are those that the Holy Spirit has revieled the truth. (the few chosen, his visiable church). Rom 10 also is dealing with the same concept, the some of the elect going about to establish their own righteousness instead of submitting themselves unto the righteousness of God.Many called, but few chosen. Seems to me the called were far many more than the chosen.
Yes, and God only calls the elect because all that is called are predestined, called, justified and glorified, Rom 8:30. If he called all mankind then allmankind would be predestinated, justified and glorified.Romans 8 describes Christians as "The Called." Not just called, but The Called.
The whole world of mankind does not receive a call from God because all that arfe called are predestined, justified and glorified, Rom 8:30. God only chastens those that he loves and only calles his elect. Both are true, but the elect receive the effectual call. It is a call like the one Jesus employed outside the tomb of Lazarus.
The whole world receives a call from God to repent but this call does not regenerate.

Without exception, those he calls are justified.nd these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
God calls all, but not all use their free will to accept his offer. Not all use their free will to accept Christ, but Christ's death is for all who will respond and accept him as their Lord and Savior and live for him.
