What do you know of this movement? According to my book they are Adventists that do not subscribe to Ellen Whites false teachings. Beside that they are the same thing as the 7th Day Adventist movement which borders on heresy.

Seventh Day Adventist Church (of James White & Ellen White) is Trinitarian.

Church of God Seventh Day (incl. Herbert W. Armstrong schism) is Binitarian.

At present, it is a theology essentially held only by some 7th Day Church of God groups. The three largest church denominations that appear to hold a binitarian view today are the Church of God (Seventh Day), United Church of God, and the Living Church of God. Other groups, scattered spinoffs from the breakup of the previously sabbatarian Worldwide Church of God, founded by Herbert W. Armstrong, also hold to a binitarian view of God.

Oh wow, that wasn't the same Tommy Jolly that pastored a church in Eldorado, IL was it??? If so, wow, that man was a curse on a lot of people. Lots of bad stuff happened there. Cultish church. I remember this bunch. When kids were acting up he had the parents take the kids to him for private counseling and he'd then molest them. Same with married women in church. He would not counsel couples, just the women and do what he wanted with them. Everyone would surrender their paychecks to the church and the church would dole out the money as people needed it. When someone wanted extra money for other things like clothes or a roofing job, they had to go to him with a special request to get the money. He made sure everyone had a decent looking car in the parking lot too.

I am getting some red flags with the person I am dating. She claims to have left the movement, but as I later have learned (obviously this was not advertised on eharmony and during initial conversations) she left only because of social reasons, but holds fully to the churches doctrines and thinks that this group is okay. These are some serious issues. Also the fact that her family never celebrates Christmas, Thanksgiving, and other holidays.

"Red flags?" Ya think? Join a good Baptist church and get yourself a good southern woman who's a Baptist. In my case she was a good Southern Baptist woman!
