More automobile accidents occur the Monday after day-light saving comes in than any other Monday of the year. The Monday after day-light savings reverts to normal time has the least automobile accidents of the year.

    Be careful this morning!

Our daylight saving (we call it: "British Summer Time") comes into effect overnight Saturday 25th/Sunday 26th March. I will try and be particularly careful on 26th! :)

For us here in New Zealand was the change in road rules' thank the Lord. There has been an old fashioned rule which was insane and now is in keeping with the rest of the planet.

We leave summertime next week I think.

OK, you're like the news stations now!
Quit with the teasers and explain the above comment!

    Thanks!!!!!!!

Also, I wish here in the USA we would decide on "A" time and stay with it - year round. I would prefer STANDARD, as opposed to DAYLIGHT SAVING, but I would be content if only one were used!!:tear:

Actually there are very few accidents. Now there are many collisions.....

I know, I know -thats part of my L.E.F.T.

As a driving instructor I emphasis collisions - for two reasons - First it sounds worse than "accident", and second - an accident is an unfortunate event that COULD NOT have been prevented. And 90+ % of all collisions ARE preventable.

    Q) What is the # 1 cause of collisions?

I think I get the idea - you have to yield to a side street on your right??

Sorta like (in SC anyway) a preoccupation for 3, 4 & all-way stops.
Can't figure the idiot that seems to think this is a cure-all for busy intersections. It's more of a traffic slow down (like a construction site on the I at rush(?) hour.

What's even worse, is after going through several 4 way stops, you come on an intersection that is a conventional 2 way and you are on the stop side, but mentally you treat it as the same 4 way stops you've been thru!!!

This is a prescription for an accident!!!!

I think it is wild that the states of the Americas have differences in rules for the road at all, and the state police forces appear to target cars from other states for traffic violations.....seems very unChristian never mind undemocratic to me. Or does this happen only in Kansas. We have quite a few Americans living here.....because of the church .
