Eph 2:10
10For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
When were they Created in Christ ? You see all those who are in Time saved by Grace through Faith, were created in Christ Jesus ! See 1 Tim 2:5 ; 2 Tim 1:9 unto Good Works, He hath before ordained, that we [ The Workmanship] should walk in them !
When was this Creation ? For it was in Christ the Anointed they were Created. Paul Tells us in 1 Cor 1:24 that Christ , the Anointed One is the Wisdom of God and the Power of God, we will explore the Wisdom of God. Christ that Wisdom of God is written of here in Prov 8:22-25
22The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.
23 I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.
24When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water.
25Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:
Now let it be understood that we are not referring to the Deity of Christ here, for that is unbegotten and un created and Eternally Self Existing as the Father and The Holy Ghost, but we are speaking of Christ as The Mediatoral Head of the Church, as the Beginning of the Creation of God Rev 3:14
14And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
The Firstborn of every Creature Col 1:15
15Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
Christ was the Firstborn as the Wisdom of God, of Every Creature. The word firstborn is the greek word prōtotokos:
the firstborn
a) of man or beast
b) of Christ, the first born of all creation
He was the First Being brought Forth in His Mediatoral Person as the Son of God, thats why He is called the Only Begotten of the Father. See Jn 1:14,18;3:16,18; 1 Jn 4:9 !
Now again in His Being as the Essential Word, He was not God's Begotten Son, but Co Equal and Self Existing and Eternal, the Eternal Everlasting God, but as the Begotten Son, the Mediator [ 1 Tim 2:5] the Wisdom of God, and was possessed by God in the beginning Prov 8:22

This word possessed is a hebrew word qanah and means:
to get, acquire, create, buy, possess
a) (Qal)
1) to get, acquire, obtain
a) of God originating, creating, redeeming His people
Now this creating is in the sense of being begotten as Prov 8:25
before the mountains were settled, and before all hills, he begets me LXX.
Now that word beget is also defined as create or procreate !
Again, this refers to Christ as the Head of the Church and the Wisdom of God 1 Cor 1:24
24But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
Now as Christ and the Head of the Church Eph 5:23
For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
If He was created before the Hills or beget, then so was His Seed in Him, thats when The Workmanship was Created in Christ Jesus Eph 2:10 refers to ! Yes, Then Created in Christ Jesus unto good works !
