Did God will for man to sin?

God did not will man to sin. God knew man would sin before He created Him and instituted a plan for man's salvation, guess when before the foundation of the earth. So no it was not God's desired will for man to sin. Did God allow man to sin would that be His permissive will?

There in is the problem God is Omnipotent and Omniscient. Since he knew their Choices before hand He could have just not created them. Since God did create them then sin must needs be for God to show Himself as a just and fair God. That is why man was created and God allowed us volition. He never willed sin but He definitely expected it and made plans to overrule its effect by sending Christ to be the Atonement for all sin.

How can you love without someone to love? Would you want to sit around and love yourself only? Or does love naturally seek expression in loving others outside oneself?

God is love, he HAS to love. He DESIRES to love. So he MUST make creatures to love, and he MUST give them CHOICE. God cannot deny himself.

I agree with this. God chose to give us this choice.

He could have created the 2/3 of Angels that didnot rebel to have someone to love.

The fall was part of God's plan. Anything short of that is an attack on His sovereignty. Jesus Christ is not plan B, He is Plan A. God did not allow sin simply because he knew it would happen, but because it was part of God's plan to redeem lost sinners. God will defeat sin and there will be no more sin one day. God yes is grieved by sin, but it was still his plan to have sin be in the world. If it wasn't His plan, He wouldn't have allowed it in the first place.

evangelist6589, who were you listening to?

"The fall was part of God's plan" I would have to say I don't agree, although I will discount the possibility.

"Anything short of that is an attack on His sovereignty". Now I REALLY disagree with this sentiment.

I think we all agree that Jesus is as eternal as the Father, does this mean if a world were created which "would not fall" would this imply that Jesus would not exist as part of the Godhead?

Perfect love exists within the Trinity. God did not need us to have someone to love.

Are you married? Why did you get married? Why did you have children?

Why didn't you just sit around and love yourself?

Remember this, God chose to do this His way. If He wanted to, He could have chosen to not make any of us. He wants someone who willfully and knowingly chooses to love Him. W/O doing this, we would have no other choice than to love Him. It's part of His plan.
