November Prediction

I predict it will not matter who is theoretically elected. The rich will get richer and the middle class bubble will continue to deflate. The cost of living will continue to rise. Manufacturing jobs except for high tech machine tools will continue to move off shore.

I predict the banks and corporations will win big time. Again. Why? Well, they always do, that's why. . . because.

They own the conglomerated mass media. That's the big reason they always win. They convince us that we're actually accomplishing something by putting on a lenghty theatrical production known as the election process.

Never the less, we'll all welcome either a brand new or an old global corporatist who's soul is already owned by the too big to fail global banks and all the global corporations that make a livin killin people and destroying God's creation.

And we'll probably be hopeful for a New York minute.

Then we might realize that we've been snookered again. So, we'll start looking for that next great conservative or liberal super man or woman to step in and save our bacon because the bottom is about to drop out.

And we all know it.

But don't worry the state will take care of us. It's been working overtime through the last four or five administrations to put in a "social safety net" the likes the world has never seen to catch us when the big fall happens.

Maybe this administration will be the one to declare martial law. All the legal work has been done. A few precedents have been set. And the next POTUS whoever that may be will have practically unlimited power over life and death anywhere on the planet on his say so alone.

Think about that for minute.

Now ask yourself if it really matters who's face is going to be on the next president.

No I don't make any claims to be able to tell the future. But judging from the past our future ain't gonna be to bright in any case so my advice is buckle yer sealtbelt Bertha it's going get bumpy. :)

Well---to that I say two things

1. I am voting for President of the United States----not Pastor of the United States

2. What do you want more in office----a Morman or a Islamic sympathizer??????:tonofbricks:

Well, I will say two things.

Do you prefer pro abortionist A or pro abortionist B?
Do you prefer pro gay rights candidate A or pro gay rights candidate B?

Since you are the one that makes comparisons on religion, what is your logic picking a known cult member who does not believe Jesus Christ is God over a candidate that you can say is not Christian, but you do not know for sure. What kind of reasoning is that?

What is it that draws you to Romney, the super glued smile on his face, or his forthright honesty?

Isn't this known as begging the question?

One Problem...

but Obama will win big, similar to his win over McCain.

...Obama didn't beat McCain by that many votes. If it weren't for the Electoral College, orver-riding the popular vote, We may have seen a recount.

As for your prediction. It is a shame that Chrisitans are unable to see through the pseudo veil of Obama. I guess it is true what prophecy says: Satan will fool the multitudes (yes even the faithful) in the end times.

The Web Dawg may be unto something....

I think America is starting to see through the media's games based on the polls I have seen. I wouldn't rule out Romney winning in the fall.

This would allow Obama to serve on a global scale, maybe as the false prophet advertised?

...I like your ability to move out of the box and make prophetic predictions. We should visit your statment a few years from now.

Actually I want a candidate who can get the economy moving in the right direction, who will cease subsidizing green energy scams that go broke, stop vetoing pipelines and stop putting more regulations on coal and business in general. One who will end the giant new entitlement program known as Obama-Care (or more accurately Pelosi-Care).

In the 2000 years since Christ's ascension, Christians have seldom had the luxury of voting, much less voting for a candidate who shared their own beliefs and moral standards. Your favored candidate's own brother said that R.P.'s politics were his religion. Maybe it's time to reconsider throwing that religious test out there so much?

Maybe it's time we reconsidered what kind of government system we actually have.

Here's a visual aid to understanding corporatism.

Voting counts for nothing when the change in administrations amounts to nothing. Bankers and corporitos hold all the key positions in any administration republican or democrat.

Go ahead and cast that vote. See if it makes a difference. To call the system of government we have a democracy is a sad joke.

You just said in your post that you want "someone who will end the giant new entitlement program known as Obama-Care." Yet, you will turn right around and vote for a candidate that wrote and signed into law an almost exact duplicate years before Obama Care was ever thought of.

That is enough right there to disqualify him and suspect his truthfulness, even if you do ignore the pro abortion, pro gay rights, pro gun control and being a member of a cult.

So would you please explain how a vote for Romney solves the problems Obama has brought about in the last four years?

Yes, I pray that the Lord will remove the deception of Satan so we can see Romney for the honest, caring, moral, Christian person that he is.

You mean he has flip-flopped? Yes I'm afraid he has. But so has your (former) candidate. R.P. was against immigration enforcement before he was for it. He advocated using troops on the border but voted against budgets that would have paid for doing it. He wants more state control but opposes state initiatives. Romney's healthcare program was at the state level. I thought we all wanted states to run their own affairs?

R.P's brother Jerrold -
“Once that got ingrained, that became his religion,” said his brother Jerrold, a minister and a psychotherapist. “He says he preaches the ‘gospel of freedom’ — that’s the money quote. Politics became his crusade.”

I am old enough to remember similar sentiments about president Kennedy's religion. "A Catholic will never be elected President".

Most people don't take their religion seriously anyway.
Romney's religion is not going to matter compared to the animosity Obama has generated among the population at large including staunch Democrats.

Remember The Emporer's New Clothes?

Dems are not speaking out but they all know Obama is an unrepentant progressive above and beyond the DNC Platform (hard to believe but true).

They also suspect that Romney is (in all probability) a progressive himself (under a thin conservative veneer) and these will vote for him at the grunt level.

Obama is a corporatist with a left cover as opposed to Romney who is a corporatist with a very thin right cover. Basically we'll get more of the same from either.

(I'll try to search for this thread later to see If I was right)

PREDICTION:

Romney will select someone more conservative than himself in an attempt to win Evangelicals. Most Republicans will vote for Romney. Most Democrats will vote for Obama.

The Obama Administration will do their best to time economic upturns with next fall. As such, some of the negative sentiment will subside.

Media will act suspensful durring the election, giving reasons why it could go etiher way, but Obama will win big, similar to his win over McCain.

I would love to be wrong on this but I do believe that President Obama will win the election although I don't agree with the why you have given. I believe that many of the republican conservatives will not vote for Romney. In fact many will not vote at all because of Romney. Then there is the independents and I think that many will still go with President Obama.
I say this because I do not believe that Romney can beat him one on one and I don't think he is going to pick a VP that will win the conservatives and the independents over so I see no way for him to carry the majority of the votes without the right pick.
I know for me if Romney picks someone like a Christie or even a Palin I would not vote for him.

Lots of differences between the two, primarily one being at the state level and the other being at the federal level. Also, this legislation was passed overwhelmingly at the MA state level.

The whole issue before the court is not healthcare or even health insurance. Primarily, it is all about the reach (or over-reach) of the federal government.

I do not want government health care at the state or federal level. I do not consider "this legislation passed overwhelmingly at the MA state level" a very high standard. Guess what would have happened to that bill in Kentucky.

The bottom line is that everyone is looking for excuses for vote for Romney and chasing the wind, as Eccl so well puts it.
