I am reading a book by MacArthur called The Second Coming and a book by Jeremiah called Until Christ Returns. Both books focus on the Olivet Discourse from a Dispensationalist perspective. Both books are good, however are written for the layman or undergraduate student. The facts that the authors point out in the books are accurate. No question that earthquakes have drastically increased over the years, and as many of you know the last month or so has seen a number of earthquakes in various parts of the globe. These are a part of the birth pangs that Jesus mentions in Matt 24. My questions for you are the following.
1. Do you know of any graduate level works just on this passage of scripture written from a dispensationalist perspective? I am aware of Gentry, but he is no Dispensationalist. I suppose I could buy a commentary but that is not exactly what I am after. After I finish these books I'd like to take a further dive into this passage of scripture.
2. Partial preterism is what? MacArthur spends time rebuking full preterism, but does not deal with partial (at least up to page 80).
