I mentioned the following to someone today. Do you think this is a good list? In reality no one but God can persuade anyone to become a Christian. However there are times where evidential based apologetics books are good to read.

For books persuading people to become Christians read these.

More than a Carptender
Lee Strobel has a number of good books
Resurrection & Has God spoken by Hank Hanegraaf
Jesus among other gods by Ravi Zacharias
One heartbeat away by Mark Cahill
One minute after you die, Christ among other gods, & seven reasons why you can trust the Bible by Erwin Lutzer

These are just a few of many. If you had to choose 1-3 of the list above I would choose More than a Carptender by Josh McDowell, & One Minute after you die, & Christ among other gods by Erwin Lutzer.

How do I persuade someone to become a "Christian book"?

;)

Just page them enough & (as in John Edward's case) give 'em a spine & some covers.

Seriously though, IMHO just about anything that Josh McDowell writes on apologetics is a good starting place for sincere "seekers."

This is a new one to me! Maybe it has to do with Jesus making us fishers of men!

Believe it or not, we had a Japanese drug addict saved after reading Hal Lindsey's Satan until 3 in the morning.

Another good one is What if Jesus had Never Been Born? by James Kennedy and Jerry Newcombe.
