    I'm curious, and serious.
How much documentation/witness'/credibility, would it take to convince you that someone today, has been raised from the dead?
    A doctor to confirm death?
    Witness'?
If you simply don't believe it would ever happen please do not respond.

First it would have to be far more than a you tube video. Second it would have to be done through someone who is not Charismatic in theology. Both of those automatically discredit the entire thing.

The dead would have to have been buried several days.

I think you are missing a central issue. Satan has power to perform the same kind of "miracles, signs and....wonders." They are real, authentic, genuine because there is real power behind them.

The issue then is not the miracle but what the miracle confirms. True Holy Spirit miralces confirm the WORD OF TRUTH!

Your example affirmed absolute rediculousness as well as theological ERROR. Hence, it is a "LYING wonder" because it is a supernatural miracle that confirmed false teaching.

    Get serious, "WELCOME to hell"?????

Why does God do signs and wonders today, IF he does?

How do YOU know its not demonic in origen anything that you see claimed in charasmatic circles today?

And please don't say unbelief to me, as was in the "Movemnent' and saw many things claimed to have been done, but when time to produce evidence came, that person was nowhere to be found!

For myself, either I or someone I consider credible would have to bear witness to the fact that the person was actually and officially dead. Such as someone in the morgue who has already been embalmed and is awaiting burial. Or someone who has been "dead" longer than a few minutes or hours.

Mistakes happen and people can appear dead, but are not and can be revived.

I do believe with all of my heart that God can raise people from the dead, but I have to remind myself that those things were done in order to give Jesus credibility among the masses and to give the apostles credibility AS his apostles.

Today, the credibility of Christ comes from the Bible and the Holy Spirit.

I don't deny the capability or the actuality of God performing that miracle today. It's that I doubt sources that are not credible and doctors have been known many times to call people dead who are not really dead.

Maybe I need to study exactly what signs and wonders Satan does?

As for now, I know that Jesus was accused of doing the devils work, but said the devil cannot cast out the devil.

I will make an honest study.

Thank you Scarlett. But each denomination can claim credibility from the bible and be polar opposites. I dont see that as real credibility. A degree or two is about the same, anyone can get them. Just My opinion.

This post makes no sense. Why start a thread asking people what it would take for them to believe something and then ask us not to answer if we do not believe?

I suspect that those of us who came out of the charismatic scene would be the hardest for you to convince. Barking, uncontrollable laughter, and physical abuse are huge issues that you have to contend with. Not to mention the emotional abuse witnessed and experienced during times of great trials because of the "You just don't have faith...." and "Confess, because_____ would not have happened if......" trash.

As has been pointed out the source of the evidence is a serious question. Based on my past experience, that would mean I would have to have intimate knowledge of the person who died and the person claiming to have been used by God to raise him. I would also need to be an eye witness if not have an absolute trust of the person telling me about the event. And that is just to START considering the possibility.

It does not say exactly what miracles (signs and lying wonders) Satan would do.

Unbelievers presume it will be healing the sick, raising the dead, cleansing the lepers, casting out demons, copying what Jesus did.

But Jesus said Satan will not make his own house fall: If Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because ye say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub.

All sickness, disease, and demon possession comes from Satan.
Satan will cast out his own devils? Jesus says no.
Satan will heal the sickness he put in place? Jesus says no.

These signs and wonders that Satan will do might be amazing and fool many, but they will not be the ones Jesus does.
Satan came to kill, steal, and destroy, not give life and life more abundantly.
