Hello, I am zara and look forward to our conversations.

As a child I was a Baptist then drifted away and toward Billy Graham Evangelism. Now I am kinda both with a little "Constantine The Great" mixed in. Please let me know if I post in the wrong threads.

I tend to be moderately blunt so forgive me in advance and let me know.

    zara ....

Well, zara, you most welcome here.

Since you list yourself as an independent Christian, you may post in any of the forums except those labeled Baptist only.

I do have a question: What is the reference to Constantine the Great? Would you explain that please?

Also, can you tell us more about the reference to Billy Graham Evangelism?

    Thanks, and welcome again.

I will be happy to. .. I see the Christian views moulded by history and how history has developed and molded the scriptures and interruptions of the Bible. By using Constantine, this signals to my brethren Christians that I seek truth from all sources including historic. Constantine is the most significant and influential human of Christianity next to Jesus and alongside of Paul. Constantine received his mission and authority with God's sign at Saxa Rubra.

To me, Billy Graham is an independent Christian who preaches the Gospel, Evangelizes and is totally independent of Religion. He epitomizes that we can pray and communicate directly to God and to Jesus/Christ.

    hello, knt4eg:

thanx, it is a pleasure too meet you.

I am extremely interested in the Byzantines, both good and evil. To my knowledge they are the only Christian empire and even have Christ on their coins. History would like to write them out because of their Christian base but their contributions, strength, wealth and religious values are exquisite. They began in around 333 AD and ended in 1,453 AD. Over a thousand years which no other empire has done.

My particular interest is Constantine The Great and his dramatic connections with God.

Since I am an Engineer, I admire, the Hagia Sophia which stands alone, to many, as the most well designed structrue of that time and in my opinion, even today. No matter what its Islamic occupiers now prefers, it still points to Jerusalem and not to Mecca.
