I have been informed by DHK that the forum administration has decided that I am not Baptist, and therefore I have been asked to stop posting in the Baptist sections.

Here is the reply I sent:

"Yes, well, I have no desire to stay where I am not wanted. I am still a member of a local Baptist church, and I will always cherish the Baptist freedoms and distinctives. No man can take that away from me.

I expect that I will not be posting much in any section here anymore. I hope it will be remembered that I was a steadfast defender of Baptists and Baptist principles against the Lutheran who attacked Baptists and equated them with Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses.

Excluding me from the Baptist sections makes me sad, but I could see it coming. You have been wanting it for a long time, and you finally got your wish. But the only way I can be excluded from being a Baptist is for me to voluntarily withdraw my membership from my local Baptist church. Thank God no forum administration can control that!"

To be fair, I guess many would not know what to do with me, as I don't neatly fit in anywhere -- on a forum, or in a denomination. That's one thing that led me to establish my own Communion. I expect that God will be more generous and open when I depart this veil of tears and arrive home.

Sorry you won't be up top anymore...I don't read the forums down here very often.

(BTW, I do believe that there are some biblical recourses for church discipline/excommunication...so I would say that would be another way you might not be in a Baptist church anymore).

A logical place to start might be this BB advertiser.

"The one who pays the piper names the tune."

Except for two names I do not pay much attention to who writes what. I am not a "people person." I think it is gracious of the BB list owners to tolerate the posts on this "other Christian" sub-forum to the extent they do.

Keep in mind that Darbyism has infected and controls most all of Protestant Christianity - even if most protestant Christians know nothing about Darbyism and the Plymouth Brethern. Moody was a PB. The PBs sponsored the Scofield Bible and controlled Dallas Theo. for decades, maybe they still do.

As goofy as their bible interpretation is, at least in WA and OR, the PBs are the most "Christian" denomination with whom I have been associated when it comes to loving God, being a good neighbor, and putting there money where their mouth is.

They rightly ousted you because you are not a "Baptist" in doctrine. You are fortunate they do not oust you from this forum as well.

Yes, I know you are going to call me all kinds of names. However, I have no personal enmity toward you at all. Personally, you seem to be a nice guy generally. However, this has nothing to do with being a "nice" guy but with absolute false doctrine.

I have been told several times, and by one admin, that what determines being able to post in the Baptist sections is being a member of a local Baptist church and identifying oneself as a Baptist. That would be in line with Baptist principles. What is NOT in line with those principles is being told by a "Baptist College of Cardinals" that one is not a Baptist. Seems to me like the "forum administration" has violated not only its own policy but Baptist principles, as well.

Call you all kinds of names? No, I don't initiate that. That is your modus operandi and that of OldRegular and some others.

False doctrine? I consider you to be promoting that. Guess the meaning of "false doctrine", like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. That's also a good Baptist principle. Seems there are not many true Baptists here.

And I concurred with DHK on this action of the Admin Council.

Thank you very much for those words!

Oh, and they have not won and cannot win, regardless of what they do with me. Besides, I am not seeking "victory", only to debate and express opinions. :)

Maybe a 'good Baptiast principle' - I don't know them first hand.

But no good Protestant or Christian or Biblical 'principle' is it that true or ""false doctrine", like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder."

Not so!

True doctrine is in and according to the Scriptures; false doctrine like 'Darbyism' is INTRODUCED from outside INTO the Bible.

I know of specifically one other such doctrine, enthusiastically believed in by virtually all Christianity, but because of which they welcome and embrace one another indiscriminately ---or precisely discriminating!

Christianity remains Christians just men wherever you look.

I am saying that in many cases one man's false doctrine is another's orthodoxy -- and vice versa.
