Imagine Obama overseeing the aftermath of the assult on Pearl Harbor.

How might things have played out?

    He would blame Bush.

My father-in-law was at Hickam Field on Dec. 7, 1941, but he died before I ever got a chance to meet him. I would have loved to ask him about his experiences that day.

Here's how I would say it plays out:

Obama, "It is America's fault for being in the Pacific in the first place, we should have never colonized the Islands and imposed our Capitalistic burden upon the people of Hawaii. It is only a reasonable response from the peaceful Japaneze to protect their eastern shores from the American encroachment of empirialism."

Yes, and the next day he would apologize to the Japanese for killing us.

I wonder how Obama feels about the decison to drop The bomb on Japan? I would love to hear his take on it.

The very thought makes me shudder.

Perish the thought, Deacon, perish the thought.

Well he is a Democrat vey much in the tradition of FDR so I imagine he would respond just as FDR or Truman responded.
