Hi,
I am a 31 y/o SAHM and FT student, cons. fund. Baptist and YEC. Hope to get in some good discussions here when time allows. I have been trying to join at ministeringdeliverance dot com for over a week with no luck- seems the spirits are preventing that from happening for some reason...

What I believe and why:
Eschatology: Pre-Trib
• Matthew 24:36 “But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.”
• 1 Thessalonians 4:17 “Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”
• Matthew 24:29-31 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”
• Luke 21:36 “Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.”
• *Post-Trib believers deny the separation of the 2nd coming of Christ (our rapture), and His later ‘Glorious Appearing’ outlined above.

Education: Homeschool
• Deuteronomy 6:6-7 “And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.”
• Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
• Nowhere in Scripture does it say hand over your children to unbelievers, secularists, or even your Christian friends. It is the parents responsibility to teach their own children. God never said it would be easy, or affordable, or ‘only if you have time’, He only said to do it.
Gifts: Alive and real.

*Gifts are always given freely by God, never taught. Gifts must be tested against 1 John 4 (Test of the Spirits) to ensure they are not counterfeit gifts from Satan.
*The gift of tongues must always be accompanied by the gift of interpretation of tongues.

Gay marriage: Unacceptable
• 1 Corinthians 7:2 “Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.”
• Gen 1:26-28 “Be fruitful and multiply…” Gay marriages cannot naturally produce children.
• Genesis 19:1-11 (Story of Lot in Sodom)
• Leviticus 8:22 “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.”
• Leviticus 20:13 "If a man practices homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman, both men have committed a detestable act. They must both be put to death, for they are guilty of a capital offense."

Are homosexuals welcome in church, of course. All sin is welcome in church. Church is like a hospital for sinners. We wouldn’t go to a hospital and expect to come out in the same condition we arrived. It is the churches responsibility to teach the above Scripture, in addition to the rest of the Bible, and hold their members accountable to it. All sin is welcome in church, as long as it is under the pretense that the person is willing to accept Christ, acknowledge and confess their sin, repent of it, and leave a better person. Blatant sin within a church membership body will not be tolerated. (1 Corinthians 5)
Appareal: Modesty
• Deuteronomy 22:5 ‘The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.”
• 1 Timothy 2:9 “In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array”
*To understand this last verse we must understand the Greek translation of the word ‘apparel’ means a ‘dress, or long and flowing gown’
*This is vital to protecting our brothers in Christ from their natural lusts of the flesh, that we may not be responsible for having them look sinfully at us, for that lust is just as bad as committing adultery in their hearts. (Matthew 5:27-28)

Head coverings
• 1 Cor 11:15 “But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.”
• Traditional head coverings are not necessary, as a woman’s hair is her covering. It should be kept long and not cut like a man’s.
Salvation
• John 3:16-17 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”
• John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way , the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
• Deuteronomy 31:6-8 (The Lord will never forsake us) *Permanent not conditional salvation
Birth Control
Genesis 1:26-28 in addition to Pro-Life verses above; using a drug to prohibit the birth of a child is contrary to God’s command. Of course sexual relations are only allowed in marriage as well. If a child is conceived out of wedlock, and the couple later finds Christ, they need to confess of their sin to another person and repent of it. (James 5:16)
Drug use
There are physical ailments, which we should seek medical help for. There are also spiritual ailments which we should seek spiritual help for. Psychology and Psychiatry are a man-made solution to man’s problems, when the root of all mental illness is outlined in scripture (sin) and the solution is also given (God) for through God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26), including healing of spiritual ailments without psychiatric or psychotropic medications. Deliverance from evil may need to be sought according to mark 16:17. Generational curses may need to be broken, according to Scripture. An article on this can be found here:

• OTC NSAIDS are appropriate for daily pains, temporary narcotic relief for emergencies, doctors for broken bones etc. But mental illnesses, depressions, anxieties, multiple personality disorders, addictions, etc. can be healed through deliverance.
Covenant (Including Mosaic Law, Circumcision and Sunday worship)
• Acts 15 and 1 John 3 make it clear old Mosaic Law is no longer necessary to obey in order to obedient to God. This applies to circumcision, as well as Sabbath worship. Although fine to practice they are no longer required.
 (Acts 20:7 KJV) And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.
• For hundreds of years the Protestant Church has been worshipping on Sunday and along with this practice, Sunday was called the Sabbath by the churches. One of the biggest mistakes Christians make is to refer to Saturday as the Sabbath because when Christ arose from the dead on Sunday morning, it was on that day that God changed the Sabbath from the seventh day to the first day of the week. This change is found in all four of the Gospels.
 (Mat 28:1 KJV) In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.
 (Mark 16:2 KJV) And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.
 (Luke 24:1 KJV) Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.
 (John 20:1 KJV) The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.
• In all four verses, the Greek words behind the underlined phrases are “μια των σαββατων” (mia tô n sabbatô n) which may be translated “first of the sabbaths. Now the reason that it is translated that way is because the word “σαββατωv” is plural. The last two letters of the word are “omega nu” (ωv) which makes the world plural. In Matthew 28:1, we read a very interesting thing. Notice it speaks about the end of the sabbath, which would have been the seventh day sabbath which was instituted under the Mosaic law. Matthew 28:1 is informing us that there was an end to the sabbath but right on the heels of the end of the sabbath, God tells us that Resurrection Sunday was the first of the sabbaths. Now the Sabbath was given under Moses about 1500 years before the resurrection of Christ and was to be observed. Now God is stating that there are new sabbaths since Resurrection Sunday was the beginning of the new sabbaths. (Exo 20:8 KJV) Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. The fourth commandment as found in Exodus 20:8 is the only one of the ten commandments which are not found in the New Testament. This means that God took the seventh day sabbath and changed it from the seventh day to the first day which is Sunday.

Church membership/attendance and corporate worship
• Paul said, 1 Cor 12:12-13 “For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body--whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free--and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.”
• Heb 10:24-25 “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.”
• Reason being: Accountability
• The example God gave us in Scripture regarding worship, was independent worship, with this being its hierarchy.

Creation
Exodus 20:11” For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.”

God created the universe in six literal days, there is no such thing as evolution or theistic evolution. (Theistic evolution states yes there is a God, but the Bible lied and the creation account is false.) Man’s science however has been proven fallible and inaccurate. Gender roles/leadership
• Men and women were created differently and for different purposes. Woman was created to be man’s ‘help meet’ (Genesis 2:18) and her role is to care for her home, care for and obey her husband, as well as care for and teach her children (Proverbs 31). The husbands role is to financially support his family ‘by the sweat of his brow’ (Genesis 3:19) and to love his wife (Ephesians 5:25)
• Pastoral qualifications can be found in 1 Timothy 3, among other chapters, but Scripture makes it clear women are not biblically qualified to lead a church. A more comprehensive analysis of this can be found here with scriptural references and original text translations:

Marriage and Spheres of Authority
Dating in teen years prepares young adults for divorce. Courting in young adulthood prepares them for marriage. A young lady should spend her single time being fully satisfied with her relationship with God alone, and this will attract an appropriate suitor. Young men wanting to court a lady should speak to her father first to get his blessing. Courtship is designed to precurse marriage.
Once a woman is married, the only biblical grounds for divorce are adultery. Even then so she may not remarry if she chooses to divorce. She may remain single or reunite with her former husband. It is better to forgive and stay married; however, some men are unwilling to repent of their sin in which case divorce may be the best option. This is all outlined in 1 Corinthians 7.
Although not outlined in Scripture, I believe that a woman who is in physical danger, or if her children are in physical or sexual danger, they may also legally sever their marriage if the husband is unwilling to repent of his sin and seek counseling.
A woman must defend her husband above all others, and always obey him. The only exception being is if he tells her to do something either unlawful or sinful. (Theft, sodomy, etc) If her husband commits a crime she is under no obligation to lie for him, but she may remain silent. However, she can report that to the law, and be right under God if she so chooses. We all must respect our spheres of authority. Children, obey your parents. (Ephesians 6:1 and Colossians 6:20) When married, young adults are no longer under their parents’ authority. Men are the head of their households, Pastors the heads of their churches, and everyone must obey the law (except in the rare circumstance the law orders you to disobey God).
