Hi,
I am a 31 y/o SAHM and FT student, cons. fund. Baptist and YEC. Hope to get in some good discussions here when time allows. I have been trying to join at ministeringdeliverance dot com for over a week with no luck- seems the spirits are preventing that from happening for some reason...
In school studying Biblical Studies and hope to Home School my children when they are old enough.

I've been working on a personal doctrine checklist that is not yet complete but it paints a pretty accurate picture of me if any are interested: See below (cut n paste from my personal docs) Had to make it into two posts as it is too long...
What I believe and why:
Eschatology: Pre-Trib
• Matthew 24:36 “But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.”
• 1 Thessalonians 4:17 “Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”
• Matthew 24:29-31 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”
• Luke 21:36 “Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.”
• *Post-Trib believers deny the separation of the 2nd coming of Christ (our rapture), and His later ‘Glorious Appearing’ outlined above.
Abortion: Pro-Life, no exceptions
• Jeremiah 1:4-5
• Exodus 21:22–24
• Proverbs 6:16-17
• Deuteronomy 27:25
Education: Homeschool
• Deuteronomy 6:6-7 “And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.”
• Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
• Nowhere in Scripture does it say hand over your children to unbelievers, secularists, or even your Christian friends. It is the parents responsibility to teach their own children. God never said it would be easy, or affordable, or ‘only if you have time’, He only said to do it.
Gifts: Alive and real.
• Romans 12
o Exhortation, giving, leadership, mercy, prophecy, service, teaching
• 1 Corinthians 12
o Administration, apostle, discernment, faith, healing, helps, knowledge, miracles, prophecy teaching, tongues, tongues interpretation, wisdom
• Ephesians 4
o Apostle, evangelism, pastor, prophecy, teaching
• Misc. Passages
o Celibacy, hospitality, martyrdom, missionary, voluntary poverty
*Gifts are always given freely by God, never taught. Gifts must be tested against 1 John 4 (Test of the Spirits) to ensure they are not counterfeit gifts from Satan.
*The gift of tongues must always be accompanied by the gift of interpretation of tongues.
*All gifts will edify the church body
Gay marriage: Unacceptable
• 1 Corinthians 7:2 “Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.”
• Gen 1:26-28 “Be fruitful and multiply…” Gay marriages cannot naturally produce children.
• Genesis 19:1-11 (Story of Lot in Sodom)
• Leviticus 8:22 “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.”
• Leviticus 20:13 "If a man practices homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman, both men have committed a detestable act. They must both be put to death, for they are guilty of a capital offense."
• Romans 1:18-32
Are homosexuals welcome in church, of course. All sin is welcome in church. Church is like a hospital for sinners. We wouldn’t go to a hospital and expect to come out in the same condition we arrived. It is the churches responsibility to teach the above Scripture, in addition to the rest of the Bible, and hold their members accountable to it. All sin is welcome in church, as long as it is under the pretense that the person is willing to accept Christ, acknowledge and confess their sin, repent of it, and leave a better person. Blatant sin within a church membership body will not be tolerated. (1 Corinthians 5)
Appareal: Modesty
• Deuteronomy 22:5 ‘The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.”
• 1 Timothy 2:9 “In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array”
*To understand this last verse we must understand the Greek translation of the word ‘apparel’ means a ‘dress, or long and flowing gown’
*This is vital to protecting our brothers in Christ from their natural lusts of the flesh, that we may not be responsible for having them look sinfully at us, for that lust is just as bad as committing adultery in their hearts. (Matthew 5:27-28)
