New to the board

Stan Arney

New Member
Hi, my name is Stan Arney, and I'm new to this board.

I'm a member of a Southern Baptist Church, in Wichita, Kansas

Medically Retired due to MS (Multiple Sclerosis), at 52.

I have been a writer of Christian Poetry, for many years.

Recently, I feel I have been given the calling to the Pastoral Ministry,
by Jesus Christ, in a vision. Now, I'm trying to find my way on how
to proceed with His demand. After all, when you are told directly by
Him, and given a specific list of items to make sure you share, you
better listen, huh.

Are you an Arminian or Calvinist in your doctrine? That way I'll know if I need to call you a Brother or an heretic........j/k...

Welcome & note of caution...you'd do yourself a favor by staying clear of those conversations.

Actually, my great-grandmother(dad's side) was a Hatfield from Pike county, Ky. She was actually raised by people with the last name "Tiller", and took their name. I am not for sure if she's of that set of Hatfield's of the feud, though. She died in the mid-1940's??, or so....so she was born pre-1900.

My wife knows a Susan Hatfield who's husband was a furrier (shoe'd horses in Colorado) He was blood Hatfield.
