Pastors not permitted to wear ties

Am listening to a local Pentecostal preacher this Sunday AM. He stated that pentecostal pastors in Romania are not permitted to wear ties for two reasons. First, the tie at the bottom is pointed and points to hell. Second - actually I forgot. I will email the pastor and ask him.

But anyways - what do you think of that first reason?

A bow is a weapon and we cant have preachers wearing weapons.

Ties can be used to strangle people, and so must be considered as dangerous weapons.

They also come in handy for wives who wish to get their husband's attention on Sunday afternoon when the man wants to nap instead of completing his "honey-do" list. So, they encourage women to be unsubmissive.

The only Ties we should have on Sunday are our ties with Jesus. He is a jealous God.

Pastors should not wear ties because if they do they are being worldly. After all, politicians, bankers, lawyers, movie stars all wear ties and they are some of the most despicable, evil people in our society.

Also backwoods snake-handling types:

They shun neckties because Jesus did not wear them.

Male members shun accessories such as neckties

My feet point nowhere as they are flat. I do have one toe that's bent and points in a different direction than the rest of my toes. It's always trying to lead the others off course.
