....and it was really very good. My pastor and his wife went to the convention and brought back this sermon.
I took a few notes that were convicting to me, I hope some of these things he said convicts us all.
His base text was John 13:34-35

I give you a new command: Love one another. Just as I have loved you, you must also love one another. By this all people will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.
- On unnecessary debate: "We are just going to have to agree that we will not always agree."
- On unnecessary debate vs. the main thing: "The main thing is the Great Commission. Today, in this society, lost people are already on fire and headed for hell. And all we can do is to stand around arguing over which hose to us while they burn."
- On personal revival: "You can't have a genuine and authentic love of the Savior and NOT experience a [personal] revival."
- "Do you REALLY love Jesus?" If you call yourself a Calvinist - do you really love Him? If you call yourself an non-Calvinist - do you really love Him? If you have the word "Baptist" in the name of your church - do you really love Him? If you don't - do you really love Him? If you hold on to that King James Bible only - do you really love Him? If you love the King James and others - do you really love Him? Do you really love Him?"
- "There just three things to remember: love the Savior, love the scriptures, and love each other."
