    What I post I wrote.

I will not read anything you did not write.

The Record Theory independently answers the questions of final authority
and final canonization (books and words). The dynamic Purified Text Theory
supports the Record Theory, demonstrated categorically and conclusively
in the manuscript evidence, bible canonization, bible doctrine,
billions of bibles and computational linguistics.

State your theory of final authority and final canonization.

    I'll read it.

Oh,btw, what I post I wrote all by myself!

Interesting. Your other thread was closed but before that, the OP in this post was the response to my post. Did you realize that my post was copied exactly from the KJV translators that was placed into the KJV 1611? You don't want to listen to the men who actually translated the Bible you stand on? Hmm - ignorance is bliss I guess.

Well, I didn't write this but I know the One who did. I hope you accept His words

Proverbs 1:22 "How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?" KJV

For a KJVO with a supposed Ed.D degree who purports to be a teacher, your English is pathetic. Reading a MV would help you immensely.

Obviously English is a second language . . and comprehension that post about Bible Versions should be in the "Bible Versions" forum and not here is also missing.

    No theory, but FACT.

God preserved His word in the form of now-ancient Hebrew, Aramaic, and Koine Greek manuscripts.

God influenced certain people to make translations from those mss. in then-current languages, which He still does. Now, many of those ancient mss. are available to more people than ever before, via these computers, faxes, etc.

God is NOT LIMITED to any one translation, in any current language, of the ancient mss. Anyone saying He is thus limited is guilty of trying to put GOD in a box, trying to make GOD conform to MAN-MADE standards.

This was written entirely by me, robycop3.

    Kowabunga. Have a nice day.

I don't have a doctorate in Seuss, but for some reason this thread reminds me of his work.

That's because you are on auto-pilot. You don't interact with anyone here in a meaningful way and don't answer legitimate questions.

You do not clearly explain your "purified text theory" so that it is understandable, and you do not show that it is sound and scriptural.
Do the Scriptures teach any purification process theory?

The truth that is stated in Psalm 12:6 is the fact that "the words of the LORD are pure words" meaning 100% absolutely and wholly pure. Pure used in the particular context of describing the quality of the words of the LORD given to the prophets and apostles would clearly be asserting 100% absolute, complete purity or perfection with no mixture of any impurities at all. After the assertion of fact, then an illustration, simile, or comparison is given [as] to confirm that truth, not to contradict it by suggesting that there were some impurities in the pure words given to the prophets and apostles. Thus, the phrase "purified seven times" (Ps. 12:6) actually stated clearly concerning silver on earth is used to illustrate and affirm that the words of the LORD are 100% wholly, absolutely, completely, and perfectly pure when given by God. This phrase about the refining or purification of silver obviously and clearly does not contradict the earlier assertion or statement of fact. That phrase does not indicate or assert that the words of the LORD are mostly pure or almost pure with a few impurities, defects, faults, corruptions, errors, or contaminants mixed in so that they needed to go through an improvement or refining process of seven purifications in seven English translations or in seven purifications of the various editions of the KJV.

Words of the LORD asserted to be wholly and completely pure in the positive or absolute degree could not be made more pure. Thus, the quality of being completely pure and completely free from all impurities that is asserted concerning the words of the LORD could not be increased. Nothing can be asserted to be more pure than what is already 100% absolutely pure according to the meaning of pure used in the context. Pure is clearly not used in a comparative degree concerning the 100% absolutely and completely pure and perfect words of the LORD. The word of the LORD is perfect (Ps. 19:7). Pure words of the LORD have the very same absolute, complete purity as very pure words (Ps. 119:140). The use of “very” would emphasize the fact of the absolute purity, but it could not increase the purity of words that are already 100% wholly and absolutely pure.

I agree wholeheartedly with this post.

But I used to be KJO myself. Is such hostility on both sides really necessary? Geez. That was one thing that really irritated me when I was reading up on this subject to learn the facts: both sides really got caught up in throwing accusations at their opponents.
It was a little hard to get past the emotional arguments and onto hard facts.

What can they say? For a centuries we didn't have the Word of God, then 'poof' we had it in the KJV...which certainly does not fall under your criticism of other versions...so there you have it. I always knew God was an Englishman at heart, so it works for me.

Well, Matthew 7:7 is an amazing coincidence.

Mat 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

Now, I don't know Greek, but I am betting if you take the first letter of the Greek words translated here as ask, seek, and knock that they do not spell anything in any langauge.

But in English, the first letters of these words spells ASK.

Also, the number 7 is considered the number of perfection.

It is almost as if this verse was a prediction that the scriptures would be translated into English someday.

But maybe it is just a fantastic coincidence?? You decide.
