Well, I'll be praying for you about that Tom, and I mean that. You as a pastor I would not allow you to just get by with the things in the OP that simply are not a truthful reflection of what I said.
Anyhow we've all been there (your post) if we care to admit it. As to your choice to leave, that is all up to you and no one else's fault.
But this is the pattern I see in churches too often, instead of manning up and making reconciliation, which is biblical, we have running away instead, the harboring of ill feelings toward others and blaming our choices and actions on others.
