Yes...yes I do!
that peace and assurance is what God sdesires all of His redeemed to experience, as would be terrible to live and not knowing if either purgotory. or else loss of salvation awaited you !

I've just read today 'Grace Abounding to the Chief of Sinners' by John Bunyan.
This was a great read, and quite an enigma, but at the same time I see 'the same afflictions accomplished in the brethren in the world' 1 Peter 5:9. Bunyan struggled for years with assurance, wicked thoughts, struggles, trials &c but left this world in peace.
Many today have the same struggles.
'Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling...' Php. 2:12. I don't see in Scripture the haughtiness of assuredness of salvation that is expressed so often today. I'm speaking of the haughty attitude that is an accomplice to those who prayed a sinners prayer and are not in church and who are not walking with God.

Shouldn't your own salvation come with a period of grief and sadness that as sinners we soooo assaulted our Lord. I know bretheren, I continue to go through that...that recognition still serves to break me and humble me.
They said to him, w“Sir, give us this bread always.”

The verses are biblical, but your understanding of them all are extremely wrong!
You are peter spoke of here:
as he does in all his letters when he speaks in them of these matters. There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures

None of which you have interpreted correctly if you think any of them "debunk" eternal security. They don't. It can't be debunked. It is biblical truth.

You were not asked about chapter 1. I'm sure you know this. How about explaining chapter 3 for us??

Surely you don't imagine nobody is noticing your avoidance of this text?? You have chapter 1 down pat, as the flesh sins, we confess and repent. But what shall ye do with chapter 3?? Continue to ignore it maybe? Surely you don't think chapter 1 cancels it out do you??

If thou relies solely on the venerable KJV, thou art quite foolish indeed.
The correct meaning of the Greek is "will not continue to sin".
IMO, habitually ... for this certainly goes against the new blessed nature of the BAC.
However, any BAC may and can choose to exercise his free will, and habitually sin!
A diseased orange is still an orange, but t'will be thrown in da fire to be burned.
Please, try to get with God's program! ... You're laggin' behind.

As one can see, (A) is the word of God and thus "correct". (B) is the word of E7 which contradicts (A) the Word of God.
