I disagree with someone else who posted in another thread that when God moves it is always somber. That is a personal preference not a biblical characteristic of God. However, when revival comes there is always humility and repentance involved. Here are just a couple of examples. I am not sure the Asuza "revival" reflects that.

Agree with you there can be a variety of experiences of emotions under the move of the Holy Spirit among people of god,[sic]
but the "fruit" of that so called revival seems to have producing extremely bad doctrines and theology of the modern Charasmatic Movement, "rotten fruit!"
On this I disagree
I would say this so called revival is a fruit if their theology.
interesting point!
As there seemed to be outbreaks of this stuff earlier, but this seems to be their version of a modrn day pentacost, a "restoration" of the Church to them!
Everyone is wanting a "restoration" of the church. It has lead to all sorts of false doctrines. Just look at Joseph Smith and Charles Russel Taze. Maybe we should be more concerned about living it than restoring it. The church doesn't need restoring, God has never left his throne.
again, agree ith you tha the Lord has granted to us ALL that we need to have the Christian walking and living as we ought, but sad truth is that many desire to listen to the Robb Bells and Joel osteens of the world!
I am not an Osteen fan but I would not categorize him with Bell. Bell is far more extreme.
based upon its 'fruit?"
Well, give some info on its 'fruit'.
