Are we alone in the universe? Did God create parallel worlds?

Watching Star Trek & the Twilight Zone (1960's) the topic of Parallel worlds and earths fascinates me. I have to wonder if there are any and if the earth is alone. The Bible was written for all of mankind and talks about the earth. But what if there is a duplicate earth in another galaxy far away? Or what if there are really aliens? I can imagine it would be possible, but I don't see the son of God dying for them, just as he did not die for the animals. So far there is no hard proof to there existing life outside of the earth, but maybe there will be one day. Maybe a way to escape into another dimension will be found as the exit doors are hidden. In a particular TZ episode certain doors and pathways are hidden and are ways into other dimensions. This is all science fiction but what if its true?

Open the paper to the Obituaries, and you'll see an alphabetized list of those who have entered another world.

I do not know about the Twilight Zone and Star Trek, as they are pure entertainment. However, there is nothing in the Bible that says we are the only life in the universe in this dimension. We know that out of our sight are spiritual beings. We know there are two places that exist somewhere as our final destiny.

While it is possible there is life elsewhere in this universe, it is also possible there is not. The argument about sin, salvation, etc in relation to that life is kind of ridiculous. If there is life, God created it, and am sure He makes adequate provision. I do not believe there is intelligent life that is visited earth in UFOs. If this phenomena exists, it is demonic, must like ghosts, vampires, zombies, and other such nonsense.

There is no sinful race of people anywhere but on earth. Christ's sacrifice for sin was once and for all --for His elect on the earth alone. Angels and like beings are in a different category. The fallen angels receive no mercy.

If you want to broaden your OP to include life such as plants, animals etc. it is not relevant.

He does tell us that the same destruction will come upon the heavens (the firmament or expanse in which the stars were placed, and in which imagined ET's live) as on the earth when He returns, 2 Pe 3:10.

The Cross is central to all creation. All things were made for Christ, and Him crucified. Once the Work of Redemption is complete (manifestly so, rather), it's all gone.

So, if one imagines extraterrestrials, they must be imagined looking forward to their worlds burning as well.

Indeed so and aliens may be in the category of animals or beings that Christ did not die for.

As the OP points out, the Bible speaks only to Earth. I don't know if there are other civilizations, other peoples, "out there," but my knowledge of God tells me one thing for certain: If there are, then He has revealed Himself to them as is appropriate for them to know Him.

Its a great mystery, just as its a mystery if Mermaids do exist. There seems to be some evidence that they do, but if they do they are not human and in the category of animals and Christ did not die for them. Bigfoot is also in this category and there may be evidence that he exists as well. However there may not be as many of these shows that I see when I go to the Gymn and exercise are pure money makers and they may make stuff up to get the cash.

Mankind is having troubles keeping up with x,y and z dimensions. We also have difficulty with the time dimension--i.e. some say the universe is billions of years old. We also seem to have difficulty with the universe expanding or contracting or both.

There is also a spirit dimension: " God is Spirit..." The world has no small amount of trouble with this one. Atheists and agnostics abound, especially in the hallowed halls of academia.

There are perhaps more dimensions--from Krypton, beyond the Black Holes and then wonderful world of Gene Roddenberry And Steven Spielburg.

The Bible is all we need.

Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

This is a sensible post.

Whenever this topic comes up it turns on the idea that Jesus would have to die for this alien race of people just as he did for humans. The number of assumptions made to get to this idea are incredible.

2 Timothy 2:23. But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.

The above is not talking about other life elsewhere in the universe but it is good advice!
