Eastern Orthodox? Episcopalian? Catholic? Can you name this church style?

Have you ever seen the film Beneath the Planet of the Apes? There is a scene at the end of the film were the radiated humans are worshipping. The worship style I have to wonder what it resembles as I believe to have been amongst a similar liturgical worship style when I was a young boy. Obviously it was not a bomb that was being worshipped, but the style of worship was very similar to the one seen in that film.

Can you just answer the question and not be sarcastic in return? Is that too difficult for you? Or you cannot answer because you do not know.

I did not sense any sarcasm in Jerome's question, simply seeking clarity from you. My own simple analysis is simply that the script/screen writer(s) were simply drawing from some heavily liturgical knowledge or experience to suggest some "apocalyptic like" worship of the future. I take no implications of "prophecy", just "hollywood" trying some creative touch.

You want to derive some theology from an ape movie? You take umbrage if some think that's funny?

I recall having been in a similar worship style church some years ago and it has to resemble some church style but I can't think of any at this time as I have been mostly exposed to Baptist, and Bible churches all my life.

You completely missed the question. I may have to look online at how a Episcopal and Anglican worship service is conducted.

Do you mean you were in a liturgical service, or one that worshiped a nuclear device?

You may be correct but how do we know for sure? Not everything seen in a movie or TV show is fake, as there are truths mixed in with error.

Guess I just assumed that you KNEW RC worship, among others is "high church", heavily liturgical. But keep in mind, all of that liturgy, from their perspective is rich in meaning and tradition.

Oh I know that they have another gospel. Eastern Orthodox are the same. Sometimes its good fro research purposes to visit such churches just to see how they are. When I was single I visited lots of various churches for this reason. However my wife is no researcher and has not been exposed to anything outside of the IFB movement sadly, neither does she desire to visit others for research purposes but that is another topic.

High Church? That must be Anglican. Yes such people in such churches are lost, and even more so than those in a Joel Osteen church.

I will refrain from commentary at this point
