I won't link the sick video that has been plastered all over the sports world for the last 24 hours of Sam and his boyfriend kissing each other several times in celebration of his getting picked up by the St. Louis Rams in the 2014 NFL draft last night, but I would like to see what you all feel about it?

If he wants to kiss his boyfriend I guess he can no big deal, but it has played over and over on the TV for the last 24 hours and why? How has the minority gay community convinced broadcasters to promote their immoral agenda? Would we ever expect these people to promote a Christian agenda?

What are we to do? Remain silent, be vocal, shut the TV off? I know we are to be salt and light, so how does this look in our ever increasing immoral society?

If we didn't shut the tv off due to all the heterosexual smut that's continuously broadcast, then all we do is reinforce that our concern isn't HOLINESS but issues, IMO.

It should be the Christian's desire to see gay people saved and living their lives for Christ too because that's Christ's desire.

Let's not give them another reason to think we "hate" them just because they are doing what we've already okayed for unmarried heterosexuals to do on every show on tv.

But I've often said that I'm a little bit more conservative than the average joe. I think kisses should be saved for your wife until you're married. It prevents a whole lot of trouble.

I think that's obvious. The media is interested in promoting the LGBT agenda, and will do so at every opportunity.

They didn't have to convince them very much. The liberal/socialist education establishment is turning out liberal/socialists who need little arm twisting to stick it in the face of the moderates and conservatives -- who, despite the best efforts of the socialists, are still the majority -- will do so. Hence Sam's disgusting display on ESPN and NFL networks.

That said, Sam was a legitimate second- or third-round pick prior to his "gay announcement." His fall to the very end of the draft is indicative of the fact that while the NFL front offices claim to be ready for an openly gay player, the NFL locker rooms are not. I think the Rams got the short straw here. The NFL knew Sam had to be drafted or face a huge lawsuit. I'm sure the LGBTs advising Sam were hoping he didn't get drafted for that very reason. I'm just grateful the Chiefs didn't lose the straw-drawing competition, and my sympathies to my football-fan and Christian friends on the other side of the state who have to put up with the coming media circus.

Would we ever expect these people to promote a Christian agenda?

What are we to do? Remain silent, be vocal, shut the TV off?

If we become vocal, we will be labeled "haters" and bigots. If we vote with the TV and at the ticket office by refusing to attend Sam's first game, and not watch it on TV, we will have no effect. Someone else will buy the ticket, someone else will watch. Also, I can't see punishing the rest of the team because they have a gay activist teammate who, I am now convinced (mainly due to that disgusting display in front of ESPN/NFL cameras) is more interested in promoting the LGBT agenda than playing football. We pray the Christian players on the Rams -- and I know there are many -- will reach out to Sam, get his attention, witness to him, and that he will see the Light.

We as Christian fans will have little effect, other than through prayer and witnessing, both to Sam and to the confused fans who don't know what to think of Sam and his displays on and off the field. Otherwise those fans won't care. I believe the majority of players in the league have a major problem with an openly gay player in their locker room. It is up to them to reach Sam -- not with violence, but with the gospel.

Now, with the like of Sam in the NFL, the game changes. Not the football game, the political game. Pro sports teams' locker rooms are like the fox hole. Everybody watches out for everybody else, but when someone has his own agenda, his own way of doing things, it destroys the comraderie, and in the case of pro athletics, it destroys the team. If you aren't on the same page with everyone else, you got to go.

You're equally full of it. I guarantee that I know a whole lot more NFL, NBA, and MLB players than you have built houses for. Athletes in the locker room in general don't care what the other guys do in their private lives as long as it's not affecting what they do on the field. And that's probably because most of them have got some dirt going on.

Looks like he just wants to play football and happened to have come out as gay. Most of the guys in the lockerroom are fine with that. It's his private life. The media is the one who will continue to make it an issue because sensationalism supposedly sparks an interest.

I know the mindset of the athlete, and the difference between collegiate and professional athletes is one of expertise, not intensity or team concept.
