Do you hold that ONLY those advocating Lordship salvation have the right Gospel message then?

And can you show where those like dr Ryrie, who hold to saved by grace a;one, thru faith alone, the doctrine of the reformers, states that its ok to be a saint and still keep on sinning, don't worry about it?

No way! I have Charles Stanley, Lutzer, Ryrie, Geisler, and other books.

I like Ryrie. He has a good book on dispensations.

Here is what he has to say on "regeneration":

“God regenerates (John 1:13) according to His will (James 1:18) through the sovereign work of the Holy Spirit (John 3:5) when a person believes (John 1:12) the gospel as revealed in the Word of God (1 Peter 1:23).”
Charles C. Ryrie, The Holy Spirit

It is not the typical Calvinist speaking here.

I am not saying he is not orthodox.

Boy, back in March I said Evangelist had my vote for starting the most ironic thread ever;

http://www.baptistboard.com/showthread.php?p=2095451#post2095451

I didn't think it was possible, but John has one-upped his own self.

Now, I have to give this thread my vote for most ironic thread of all time.

So how is your friend Peter the Rabbit doing?

Having the books and comprehending the content are two very different things.

So very true padre, my very first year teaching, I taught 7th grade. I often asked them to read something.....their definition of reading was this....

"my eyes have passed over the printed words, therefore I have read it"

One good reason not to buy so many books and to read books in print. But take my word I am reading several books very slowly so I can comprehend them.

Well I did not fully agree with them and so I did not read their books as slow as books by Mac and Reisinger.

This might come as a surprise to you but there are folks that don't fully agree with Mac, Washer, etc. and won't give them more than a cursory read.

No way! I have Charles Stanley, Lutzer, Ryrie, Geisler, and other books.

Still have use as my primary Study Bible the Ryrie edition, 1977 Nasb!

NO ONE has absolute wisdom in biblical doctrines, no one was inspired after Apostle John, so would be wise to read and stay up with Both reformed and regular Baptist theologies!
