Colossians 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
Why is Christ referred to as the "firstborn of every creature?
Jesus is God. Jesus is also the only begotten Son of God. And Jesus is the Creator.Verse 16 - "For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities-- all things have been created through Him and for Him..."
The meaning and use of “firstborn” is a confirmation of Jesus being called “the only-begotten Son of God”.Colossians 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

What do you mean by this statement?Jesus holds the place of honor and pre-eminence among all who have been,
are now, and will be, “born again” spiritually … raised up to inherit eternal life.
I guess I need to answer this trick qvestion.Jesus holds the place of honor and pre-eminence among all who have been,

Jesus was The First (with a human body) to be truly born-again (with the Holy Spirit inside).
(Some of the OT prophets thought God's Spirit came inside them when they were temporarily prophesying).
All born-again Christians who receive likewise are expected to follow Jesus' example on how to live on this earth.
That means being obedient to His commands.
Since we are not sinless like He was ...
we are invited to have our sins cleansed by Jesus' precious blood via 1 John 1:7--2:1.

Your answer is very similar to this one:The meaning and use of “firstborn” is a confirmation of Jesus being called “the only-begotten Son of God”.
“He (Jesus) is the image of the invisible (Father) God, the firstborn over all creation.” (Colossians 1:15).
“prototokos” (firstborn) here means Jesus was “the first cause, the source of creation”.
Jesus being the source of creation is verified in the very next verse:
“For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth …” (Colossians 1:16).
Jesus being the source of creation is also verified in this verse:
“These things says the Amen (Jesus Christ), the Faithful and True Witness,
the Beginning of the creation of God …” (Revelation 3:14)
Some Scripture verses say Jesus was the creator of all things, and other verses say
Father God created everything “through” Jesus. Either way, Jesus did the creating!
“firstborn from the (spiritually) dead” (Colossians 1:18, Revelation 1:5)
“For whom He (Father God) foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to
the image of His Son, that He (Jesus) might be the firstborn among many brethren.” (Romans 8:29)
Jesus holds the place of honor and pre-eminence among all who have been,
are now, and will be, “born again” spiritually … raised up to inherit eternal life.
“… that the Christ would suffer, that He would be the first to rise from the dead,
and would proclaim light to the Jewish people and to the Gentiles.” (Acts 26:23)
Jesus did ALL kinds of stuff that He didn't need to do for Himself. Why did Jesus need to be born again?
I give ... why?
I have a very extensive library of copy and pastes gathered from many places.Your answer is very similar to this one:

How do you account for that?
Are you saying Jesus was "born again" when he was baptized?Jesus did ALL kinds of stuff that He didn't need to do for Himself.
Jesus did ALL kinds of stuff that He needed to do for us!
In this case, He needed to be baptized by John where He received everything!
In this case, He needed to show us what to do ... to copy Him.
Although I admit I'm on shaky ground here.
However, this stands true ...
Jesus was The First (with a human body) to have the Holy Spirit inside "forever" (John 14:16).

I iz organized.
Don't know. Are you saying Jesus was "born again" when he was baptized?
I learned quite a lot from him, that's for sure.It took me all of about 10 second to google "site:baptistboard.com evangelist-7 I iz" to find 7 pages (how ironic) of links to your quotes here using the word "iz".
If it is way to deep for you why did you post:Don't know.
I do know He was fully God and fully man!
Maybe his Fully Man had to be born again, but probably not.
Way too deep for me!
You are the one that claimed he had to be born again.Jesus was The First (with a human body) to be truly born-again (with the Holy Spirit inside).

Some people may like to reinvent the wheel over and over again, but not me.
From what i recall, that evangelist guy was all over the place.
