When I was young a sister fell asleep in the front row and started snoring!

OK!... Preacher fess up!... Put your hand on the Bible!... Ever have anyone fall asleep during one your sermons?... Brother Glen:smilewinkgrin:

 

During a sermon? Not that I've ever noticed, though I cannot honestly say no.
During teaching a Sunday School class? Oh yes, though our adult class has older members and it starts an hour and a half earlier than preaching.

I was told that, even though I did not fall asleep, I did make a scene once. Our pastor at the time (when I was about 3 or 4, so around the mid-1980s) had preached for a long time. He said "I guess y'all are about ready for me to be quiet." Of course no one spoke...no one except me. I let out a loud "Uh-huh!" Embarrassed my Mom greatly. My grandfather, also a preacher, just laughed.
