We know Obama is black. There you go crying race again. But the liberals are the race baiters.

You with your white skin can criticize the President with the black skin all you want. Shoot, get some folks with some yellow skin to help ya.

You're the one with REV in the front of your name. I'm more concerned about your continued display of wickedness that you keep trying to hide behind your politics.:jesus:

Absolutely incredible that some of you have a problem with the President joking about his EOs but don't have any problem with certain members of Congress taking jabs against him to remind him that they won an election in November.

He won two elections in November too.

The emperor just is not popular. He is surrounded by strange people. He says that he changes law. He has lied a great deal. His approval rating is underwater. He is a lame duck. He cannot get an audience. He resorts to making political situations out of ceremonies for children. He is in love with the sound of his own voice and wise in his own eyes. He has a siege mentality and is circling the wagons to fight off the attacking Indians but the only attack is laughter.

Sounds like most of our recent Presidents and Congress.

Actually, as Righteous Dude pointed out, the emperor sunk to a new low when he made a political event out of Thanksgiving at a ceremony for children--a ceremony that dates back decades.

More partisan bantering. His comments were no worse than GOP comments about playing with fire and getting burned.

    next.

I am afraid that you misunderstand the nature of what the emperor did.

I can remember Eisenhower issuing a pardon for the Thanksgiving turkey when I was a child. As a rural kid, I knew that you don't eat a pet animal. So at the movies or on tv, the President of the USA would say that this turkey will go to the White House zoo and Happy Thanksgiving, and there would be some small children there all smiles.

So the ceremony is very old.

Along comes the emperor and starts bragging about how he changed the law without the consent of Congress at a ceremony for children.

    It was gauche.

    It was tasteless.

    It was rude.

    It was unprecedented.

It was a sour note from the emperor on a solemn occasion.

It was a selfish political note when pomp and ceremony was called for.

It was all about the emperor. It was not for the children.

Oh I understood exactly what he was doing. And I also understand exactly what you are doing by trying to make his actions appear to be worst than anyone else who has ever held the office.

It was no more gauche, tasteless, rude, unprecedented, and sour than were the continued "get burned if you play with fire" comments from the GOP after the midterm elections.

Their comments were just as selfish and political and just as emporish.

You really need to just let it go because his actions are no different from previous Presidents.

Your allegiance to the emperor is touching.

The White House is part protocol and part politics. There is a time and a place for everything.

A children's ceremony is not the place for politics but protocol.

But maybe the emperor just does not know how to act according to protocol. I know that I don't expect much of him.

Yeah. Maybe it's the world, and not RDII.

You've got issues. If you ever had a point worth hearing you bury it under so much hateful garbage nobody sees it.

And a s a Christian, your disdain for him is embarrassing.

Says you. It's obvious that like Rev and RD2, you've made your dislike for the man personal so I doubt it would matter much to you what he did or how he did it. You'd find a reason to complain.

Protocol, smotocol. All "protocol" amounts to is what the folks in charge think is appropriate.

Our (Rev, CMG and myself) disdain is only overshadowed by your continued refusal to let your racial bias stand in the way of acknowledging the truth that is being reported in the news.

We may harbor disdain, but you foment and reek with admiration, affection, approval, flattery, praise and high regard for the man. If you want to sanction his sins, fine. However, layoff accusing us of having disdain while you soak in affection.

If we are wrong, what does that say for you?

It is not personal but you seem to be making that false charge all the time. He is a doctrinaire leftie and has not one iota of graciousness about him--like the time that he was laughing and playing golf a couple of minutes after he expressed condolences to a family. He has been caught in numerous lies and makes it clear that he thinks that Americans are stupid. He is unpopular with the general public and his policies are also unpopular, but Republicans have never liked him personally.

As for your definition of protocol--I heard people in Ferguson complain because the police left a body in the street for 4 hours and they called that a violation of protocol so I guess that you yourself want to be treated properly but you don't care how you treat others, Zaac Liberal/Progressive?

I've seen the bodies of accident victims left in the road for hours, waiting for the crime scene and accident team and coroner to finish their work.

Everone on the FPD knew the Brown case would be a fight for who was right and wrong, and they needed to spend the time to get it right, as far as info, photos and everything else that went into the reports surrounding the death by shooting!

The body should have been covered, and like many forces do, put up the temporary tent around and over the body of Brown, but other than that, the time the body laid there did not seem unusually long considering the circumstances!

In fact, in light of what's happend, with a GJ investigation and all that's transpired since the findings were released, I'd say the cops did a bang up job with their inital collection of information and photos!

My prayer is that I can die in peace and not be bothered by the Democrats.
