    Maybe so, Matt, but the original manuscripts are not available to any of us. You and I and everyone else have READ a version of a version of a version of a translation. So the truth is none of us in this day and time have read THE Bible as originally transcribed.

    So Matt, though you feel that I have taken creative license of my view of verses like others in those versions in understanding scripture, the truth is no one version is better than or worse than any other version, because in the beginning, all the church had were versions, of versions.

    So the next time you criticize my version of a text, don't forget .... none of us have ever really READ the BIBLE, as it was originally transcribed a few thousand years back.

    Baloney. There are plenty of bad, even evil, versions out there. What about the JW version? How about the Klingon version?

    God is able and has preserved His Word. Doesn't sound like you believe that.
