    #36 - Blessedwife - "Paranoid? No
Frustrated? Now that is just funny.
I find this whole exchange amusing. You come on here with what you thought was a gotcha question or point, I come along tell you I agree with your point and am still a Calvinist and then you get all worked up since you can't seem to believe you could have any common ground with a Calvinist. Are we really so horrible in your mind that there can be no common ground?
I also find it amusing that you declare you have pointed out all the supposed contradictions of Calvinism in this tread when all you have really done is try to get me to reconcile the 2 points you presented that I agreed with, meaning there was nothing for me to reconcile much to your annoyance it would seem."

#37 - Steaver - "lol, annoyance? No. what is strange sister is that you don't realize that when you agree that regeneration does not happen prior to belief, Calvinism is destroyed. Yet you are still a Calvinist????" Note, I never said you agree Calvinism is destroyed. What I did say was that you "don't realize" Calvinism is destroyed. Now how can I believe you don't realize Calvinism is destroyed and at the same time believe that you do agree Calvinism is destroyed??

#39 - Icon - "She understands very well. She rejects your man centered theology for the biblical one.
You are a legend in your mind, but have not proven anything in here at all.
    :laugh:really destroyed:laugh: "

#40 - Steaver - "Maybe you missed the part where she agrees with me  "

#41 - Icon - "Nope...did not miss it at all. In fact that just exposed your agenda... Blessed wife toasted you without batting an eyelash." Note, Icon did not believe I was referring to you agreeing with "Calvinism destroyed". What was Icon's answer to my statement? If it be so that I was referring to Calvinism destroyed when I stated "she agrees with me" then it must follow that Icon also then believed I was speaking of Calvinism destroyed when he answer "Nope...did not miss it at all" and he must also believe that you agreed with me that Calvinism is destroyed! So he would be declaring you believe Calvinism is destroyed as well. Do you want to declare Icon is twisting your words?

#47 - Blessedwife - "Aw now we have a classic example of you twisting what people said. I agree with you on the idea of Paradise NOT on the idea that it destroyed Calvinism. In fact this whole thread has been about you not understanding that those two things have nothing to do with each other and acting shocked that you have some common ground with a Calvinist."

A "classic example"? I challenge you to find just one. If it be so classic, there should be dozens.

Now the facts show that I did not twist your words. I even clarified that I was not speaking of Calvinism destroyed when I said you agree with me. Which you would not accept. I believe I am owed an apology.

You will not find any quote for quote between another and I anywhere in my 7000 post where I twisted somebody's words. I do not do that, I do not have to do that. There are a few who attempt to sling mud and declare I have, but of course you will never see them present a quote for quote to support their witness, and what does that make their witness then? False. One of the very ten commandments being broken by Christians, that is sad.

I understand the frustration one must feel when my arguments expose contradictions in Calvinism, but that is no reason to bear a false witness against another, and another brother in Christ at that. :praying:

You really like to project frustration onto others don't you? Again I'm amused not frustrated :)
I will respond to the rest of your quote tomorrow when I'm at a computer but I will say this, just saying your have presented a contradiction does not make it true. You have only presented a contradiction in your own mind. As one who has been in both camps I do not see any contradiction in being a Calvinist and believing in Paradise. You have not yet shown how that could possibly be a contradiction. The only thing you have done is state that there is a contradiction which is not proving a contradiction at all. Now I realize that not all Calvinist believe in Paradise in fact I would say I am in the minority there so for them you also could not say that there was contradiction. You would just have to argue about the idea of Paradise with them but as I have shown that would in no way change their soterology. :)

Wrong again Steaver......you are putting words in everyone's mouth now ......you have been exposed. ....your cover up is not working......it is you violating the 9th commandment.

your version is as water tight as the Titanic.

That's your argument "wrong"? Good one there brother! We can all rest assured that if you thought for one second I was referring to Calvinism destroyed you would have unleashed on me like a serpent! Lol. The facts are without dispute, well at least to an honest thinking reader. You have long since disqualified yourself as an objective witness.

Now you make the statement that will come into play later

#39 - Icon - "She understands very well. She rejects your man centered theology for the biblical one.
You are a legend in your mind, but have not proven anything in here at all.
    really destroyed "

Note that if you look at the Original Post Icon has highlighted the statement "Calvinism is destroyed" from your above post and points out that nothing is destroyed even with my belief system about Paradise.

#40 - Steaver - "Maybe you missed the part where she agrees with me "

This is the statement that I most object to. Icon made it clear in the previous post that he was talking about Calvinism being destroyed by the fact that he had highlighted it and also says that nothing is really destroyed. You make it appear that I agree with you on that fact when you know I do not and I don't appreciate that.

#41 - Icon - "Nope...did not miss it at all. In fact that just exposed your agenda... Blessed wife toasted you without batting an eyelash."

Icon saw through your twisting of my words and instead points out rightly what I have been doing. Ironic that you try to use him here to get out of twisting my words when you said "You have long since disqualified yourself as an objective witness." about Icon in your very last post. So which is it, can you use him to help your case, or is he completely disqualified?

#47 - Blessedwife - "Aw now we have a classic example of you twisting what people said. I agree with you on the idea of Paradise NOT on the idea that it destroyed Calvinism. In fact this whole thread has been about you not understanding that those two things have nothing to do with each other and acting shocked that you have some common ground with a Calvinist."

Thank you Steve for going through the effort to cut and past all the post. It did make it easier to show what happened. My comments are in Bold for clarity sake.

I do not have to make an argument. ....Blessed wife 318 has your whole thing sliced and diced.......lol....you have been bagged and tagged and still persist in trying to cause disruption.
STEAVER.......you have no point in all your posts.
You are like a blind person who has never seen a rainbow....everyone else sees it.....they tell you about it and you twist what they say because you are not able to see it.
They keep explaining how it looks and that they like it....but it makes you frustrated and in denial.

The Spirit laid a scripture on my heart just now. Forgive them Father for they know not what they do.

That is so true. A man centered philosophy has a tendency to blind one to what they are doing.

keep something in mind Steaver....you are the one who jumps in on the attack 24/7. That is your stated purpose. You do not come to edify, teach, help etc. No....to you we are an enemy [ of course you will say...it is the teaching and not us].
You make unbiblical claims which several have offered to help you on, but no...you do not want help. So why do you moan Steaver?

we are not buying what you are selling. To be honest[brutally honest:thumbs:]

we can make better arguments against our position than you can;)....that is why you cannot make any headway.

BW318...went through your nonsense like a hot knife through butter. Reformed took you to school..you looked like a deer in the headlights on I 80,lol on that one.

Con 1 was very patient....many others....but you persist.

Believe me I have... And I put them back on!... Calvin may have coined the term TULIP but the points are scriptural truths... Put on those glasses and you will see what the Lord Jesus Christ had done for "YOU" that was impossible for "YOU" to do for yourself. I have this scripture reference engraved on my Bible!

Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and it set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

1 Timothy 1:15 This is a saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief... Brother Glen

Well brother, I don't need Calvinism glasses to agree with you 100% :jesus:

It seems that Calvinist always say this or something like it..."you will see what the Lord Jesus Christ had done for "YOU" that was impossible for "YOU" to do for yourself."

Can I conclude that all of those who become Calvinist once had believed they were saving themselves in some way and suddenly the realize it is Jesus Christ who is saving them??

Progress then. You are learning that Calvinist are not just enemies to be destroyed but people you actually have things in common with. One day Lord Willing you just may be one of us if you keep this up ;)
