Yup, Notice how many are simply training exercises or providing transportation for potential evacuations. Clinton's major military engagements are going to be remembered as Bosnia, Kosovo and Somalia as being the most noteworthy. Bosnia was Bush Sr.'s project that Clinton continued to honor as well as the occasional strikes in Iraq. (These two Presidents actually seemed to respect one another) He would conduct a joint bombing when an opportunity presented itself but to act like he was unleashing the U.S. military on some sort of rampage is a bit much. It's weird that most of these are evacuation preparation for U.S. embassies in Africa. These were reasonable responses to current events. He rarely moved troops into combat situations on the ground unless it was for security purposes. It's kind of weird that Carpro said he sent the military all over the world willy nilly when he used them mostly to support U.S. citizens abroad. Here is the Bush era list. They were both pretty lengthy lists but one of these has two bolded wars. Both had a lot of run of the mill stuff that makes these lists longer than they probably need to be.

Some "deployment". Others clearly weren't Bush's. Others were for like 35 troops. Others involved no troops, unless drones have pilots. And then you listed several deployments for Afghanistan and Iraq. Goodness, I would hope we would deploy troops to a war zone.

Um, I don't think the lists make your point for you unless you are now changing your argument. In fact just the opposite unless you'd like to point out the major military engagements of the Clinton era that rivaled the Iraqi/Afghan war. Most of Clinton's are not major deployments either and you still haven't identified any of these that you have a problem with. I don't have a problem with Bush's list either except for the two major wars. Most of these incidents are a bunch of nothing. You made the claim that he sent the military around the world willy nilly which is odd that you think moving troops to protect our embassies is "willy nilly," ironic considering how big you guys are on the Benghazi thing.

There are only two deployments listed for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. You are struggling with reading comprehension. It's like you have somehow forgotten the crux of your own argument which is your claim that he was sending our military around willy nilly. You have yet to make a case that he is any different than Bush in this regard and what deployments were frivolous. Was responding to the USS Cole bombing willy nilly? Is evacuation preparation for U.S. citizens abroad willy nilly? Joint military with other countries is willy nilly? It would be nice if you could make a point instead of moving goal posts.
