Anyway, getting back to the thread, yes it was a mistake getting rid of him, as evil as he was, he was in control of Iraq. In the 80s it did not bother us to deal with him because at the time Iran seemed like the bigger enemy. That I why war should be declared with the objective to win so we do not have to go back again and again. When we half win wars, the enemy just comes back under a new label.

Look....I have supported the now defunked Saturn Neptune .....even when people were dragging him through the mud so stop being critical. I'm now a Christian and I have no room in my heart for hatred. And Ponchos has "as a Christian " has every right to the love of his bretheren as anyone...but my brother OR is the sage here and I could no more attack him as slap my mother.....one does not do that to their elders....and in this case, my better.
