[Catholic videos/propaganda, etc. not permitted on this board]
I've been really shocked since I saw that video. I had started believing in justification and sola fide, but my mind was completely blown. I never saw any retort so powerful and so clearly explained to justification and sola fide. It seems like it invalidates it completely and reaffirms the doctrines of the Catholic church.

Why not try the True scriptural doctrine then?

[SDA videos are just as much prohibited as RCC]
This is a debate forum not a propaganda forum.

Take your Bible, not RCC apologists and propaganda and from a position of sola scriptura find out what is justification. Why not take the definition of Joseph Smith, Ellen G. White, or Charles Taze Russelll. I am sure they have their own definitions as well, all different than the RCC? It doesn't mean they are right, and it doesn't mean the RCC is right. There is only one who is right, and that is God alone. His answer is in the Word of God, not in the Catechism or Magesterium, or Catholic apologists or videos.

    Jesus said:
John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

Ha! I knew it... only a matter of time. Such a weak position... you have to edit. Truly you are of the daughter of your Mother...

I pity such a religion as yours DHK... you resort to force, as your Mother.

"... The same scorn and hatred that was manifested against Christ may be seen now to exist against those whom he has evidently chosen to be his co-workers. Those whose spirits rise up against the doctrines of truth make hard work for the servants of Christ. But God will make their wrath to praise him; they accomplish his purpose by stirring up minds to investigate the truth. God may allow men to follow their own wicked inclinations for a time, in opposing him; but when he sees it is for his glory, and the good of his people, he will arrest the scorners, expose their presumptive course, and give triumph to his truth. ..." - The Spirit of Prophecy, vol. 3, p. 273.2

DHK, you are but fulfillment of your fathers before you... which crucified Christ Jesus.

"... Protestants have tampered with and patronized popery; they have made compromises and concessions which papists themselves are surprised to see and fail to understand. Men are closing their eyes to the real character of Romanism and the dangers to be apprehended from her supremacy. The people need to be aroused to resist the advances of this most dangerous foe to civil and religious liberty. ..." [The Great Controversy, Page 566] - http://text.egwwritings.org/publica...ng=en&collection=2&section=all&pagenumber=566

"... It is not without reason that the claim has been put forth in Protestant countries that Catholicism differs less widely from Protestantism than in former times. There has been a change; but the change is not in the papacy. Catholicism indeed resembles much of the Protestantism that now exists, because Protestantism has so greatly degenerated since the days of the Reformers.

As the Protestant churches have been seeking the favor of the world, false charity has blinded their eyes. They do not see but that it is right to believe good of all evil, and as the inevitable result they will finally believe evil of all good. ..." [The Great Controversy, Page 571] - http://text.egwwritings.org/publica...ng=en&collection=2&section=all&pagenumber=571

"... In the movements now in progress in the United States to secure for the institutions and usages of the church the support of the state, Protestants are following in the steps of papists. Nay, more, they are opening the door for the papacy to regain in Protestant America the supremacy which she has lost in the Old World. And that which gives greater significance to this movement is the fact that the principal object contemplated is the enforcement of Sunday observance—a custom which originated with Rome, and which she claims as the sign of her authority. It is the spirit of the papacy—the spirit of conformity to worldly customs, the veneration for human traditions above the commandments of God—that is permeating the Protestant churches and leading them on to do the same work of Sunday exaltation which the papacy has done before them. ..." [The Great Controversy, Page 573] - http://text.egwwritings.org/publica...ng=en&collection=2&section=all&pagenumber=573

"...Thus the message of the third angel will be proclaimed. As the time comes for it to be given with greatest power, the Lord will work through humble instruments, leading the minds of those who consecrate themselves to his service. The laborers will be qualified rather by the unction of his Spirit than by the training of literary institutions. Men of faith and prayer will be constrained to go forth with holy zeal, declaring the words which God gives them. The sins of Babylon will be laid open. The fearful results of enforcing the observances of the church by civil authority, the inroads of Spiritualism, the stealthy but rapid progress of the papal power,—all will be unmasked. By these solemn warnings the people will be stirred. Thousands upon thousands will listen who have never heard words like these. In amazement they hear the testimony that Babylon is the church, fallen because of her errors and sins, because of her rejection of the truth sent to her from Heaven. As the people go to their former teachers with the eager inquiry, Are these things so? the ministers present fables, prophesy smooth things, to soothe their fears, and quiet the awakened conscience. But since many refuse to be satisfied with the mere authority of men, and demand a plain “Thus saith the Lord,” the popular ministry, like the Pharisees of old, filled with anger as their authority is questioned, will denounce the message as of Satan, and stir up the sin-loving multitudes to revile and persecute those who proclaim it. ..." How will you eliminate the Truth DHK?

Will you dig up Wycliffe and burn him again? Will you burn Tyndale? Will you hunt Luther?

Propaganda indeed, ha! Propaganda is that which needs enforcers. It cannot tolerate the Truth, and must shut out all opposition by any and all means available in the pretense of legality.

Nothing "reverend" about you. God alone, for Holy and Reverend is His name...

He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend [is] his name. - Psalm 111:9

    You have been deceived.
Do you think that by quoting from a false prophetess of the SDA that you have proven anything at all. I also have the book "The Great Controversy" in my library, filed under cults with other literature that blasphemes the name of God.

Perhaps you have me confused with someone else. The RCC first took Tyndale's Bibles and destroyed them. And in the end they put him to death as well. They were the ones that wanted Luther killed. I am not a Catholic. That is not part of my history.
The Bible does not eliminate the Truth, it exposes it. The Bible is my final authority in all matters of faith and doctrine. That is why it so easily exposes the false doctrine of the SDA. Thus quoting a few paragraphs from Ellen White is fruitless and almost all will see your futility in doing so.

No brother, not so at all, and the evidence is all over the place -
[That wasn't evidence--just a flaunting of the rules.]

Ha had no 'self-control' to start with, just false humility and a for, of godliness but denying its power.

For your information, SDAs have a persecution complex. Ellen White predicted beheading of sabbath keepers and they have been waiting for 140 years. So what they do is use the slightest excuse to flash the persecution card. As usual, the most intolerant cults demand most tolerance. They don't mind feeding you with Ellen White garbage but they'd NEVER read anything you share with them. I want you to show me one Adventist forum I can join and debate with them my anti-EGW stance and see how fast I will be kicked out

The video itself was backed by numerous passages in the bible.

I genuinely wanted to know whether or not it was biblically sound. If you're going to censor it for little legitimate reason then I'm going to deem you a despot and never going to visit this place again. This is simply ridiculous. Bye.
