Look, I watched the debates, and there were times that I felt Fox News, especially Kelly, was there to bring Trump back down to earth, so to speak!

And if that was their hidden agenda, they did accomplish it, but to what ends? This debate may have looked bad for Trump, but if he s wise, he should replay the tape, listen to how he responded, and learn. The questions Kelly and others asked him, are only the beginning of what he will hear in the days to come.

Still, I need to ask, was Trump, in your eyes, picked on, or were the questions and moderators fair across the board?

They were fair to Trump and I do not know where you get the idea that they were not.

I think that Trump would make a good Presidential Press Secretary.

They asked questions that were going to be brought up by the media if each person got the nomination - hard questions - questions that needed to be answered.

They asked Dr. Carson about all of his verbal political "flubs" that intimated that he was not the best candidate because he was not familiar with the world's stage. I cringed for him when they asked the question.

Scott Walker has been known to say that he is opposed to abortion even if the mother's life is in danger. They asked him if he would REALLY let a mother die. If he says "yes", he's seen as a horrible person. If he says "no", he's seen as wishy-washy and just telling people what they want to hear.

There was a lot of hard questions and some soft ones.

If it seemed to you like Trump was "picked on" it's because he has provided the most material that the media can blast him for and can make him a "picked on" candidate later.

If they didn't ask those questions and he got the nomination, you can better believe that the media would use those very topics and questions to destroy him later.

He came off as arrogant and overly-sensitive.

And the next day, he called Megan a bimbo in a tweet. Whether she is a bimbo or not, it's just not good for a presidential candidate or president to talk like this.

"I believe he's simply in the race to be a spoiler. He is, in an obnoxious, arrogant way, talking about issues that Ted Cruz has been dealing with for a long time. So media attention has been focused on Trump rather than Cruz. If he doesn't get the nomination, he is planning to run third party. Why would he do that? To split the conservative ticket, because too many conservatives are reacting emotionally instead of thinking about what Trump has always been. I think his ultimate goal is to see Hillary as POTUS."

You just describe most of the Spanish speaking Hispanics that have invaded Houston here. Vladimir Putin "In Russia live Russians. Any minority, from anywhere, if it wants to live in Russia, to work and eat in Russia, should speak Russian, and should respect the Russian laws. If they prefer Sharia Law, and live the life of Muslims then we advise them to go to those places where that's the state law. Russia does not need Muslim minorities. Minorities need Russia, and we will not grant them special privileges, or try to change our laws to fit their desires, no matter how loud they yell 'discrimination'. Trump like Vlad would deal with the illegals and I would rather put up with his English stupid comments then eventuallyhave Spanish as our main language.

Trump allowed Megan to get his goat. She is a bit glib and he should have ignored her. He sketched out the proper answer when he said that the USA does not have time to be politically correct.

I think some of the questions were a waste of time and simply asked to play the gotchya game. Megyn Kelly is taking a lot of heat on twitter right now for the way she conducted herself at the debate.

And it would be acceptable with all those critics of him for attacking Megyn Kelly! All is fair when it comes to one, like Rosie or Hillary, but not with others, like Kelly!

STILL, he was wrong, and should issue an apology, but the Donald will never apologize, and this may be the first nail in his coffin!

Actually, he made some points with liberals with this comment - with the possible exception of ultra feminists.

Trump is short on specifics on what should be done and his comments were uncouth.

Fox should not have tried so hard to embarrass the candidates since it is clear that they will not do that with the Democrats. Fox should have asked candidates for details about their established public opinions.

The GOP has plenty of talent and many of the candidates are young.

How much longer do you think that Trump will stay in the race? Does the GOP really want to be represented by a casino owner? What does a casino owner know about business?

Everyone was asked tough questions: Jeb, Walker, Carson, Huckabee, Christie, Marco, etc., as well as Trump. Trump was the only one who attacked back. Pretty sad if he can't handle the heat from Kelly.

After his most recent attacks on her - which were embarrassing and uncalled for - as well as being way, way over the line (to say the very least), plus his comments on John McCain and illegal immigrants, it's hard to imagine that he would have any supporters left.

Yep. This is what I thought as well. In fact, I was surprised that Fox News went after the candidates in this tough manner. Good for them.

Trump got a pass on everything except for his uncouth remarks on Kelly.

How much longer do you think that Trump will stay in the race?
