Cassidy went over to facebook and is now slandering the BB over the ads.
That's just sad. On those rare occasions I browsed BB on my phone I saw plenty of ads. Why didn't people complain about those ads?

Similar here. I am running a very effective ad blocker that does not interfere with reading and responding to posts.
Ditto. uBlock Origin on both Chrome and Firefox kept me oblivious to any ads whatsoever. It's a tragedy someone has to drag a site name through the mud because of it, though.
What is sad is that "Rev" Mitchell is lying. I never mentioned the ads. I can't even see the ads. I use "Ad Block."
However, it would seem he considers it "slander" to oppose pornography that depicts Christ sexually violating a sheep and performing fellatio on another man. That is pretty sick, even for "Rev" Mitchell.

For the record Cassidy's last post is the most vile accusation of me I have ever received in all my years. It seems he has let his temper get the best of him in his poor attempt to drum up feigned righteous indignation. In fact it is the worst accusation I have ever seen made of anyone on this board. Ever.

Personally I was offended but not really shocked considering my former life before Jesus saved me from so great a garbage can I had made for myself.
Rather than the destruction Peter and Jude speak of lets remember Jesus words first:

There must be more to it than what you list here, SG.
All forums are going to be vulnerable to attack by militant atheists who have no qualms blaspheming God, and the fact remains, no matter where you go, you are not going to escape the depravity of the world. You would need to go out of the world to escape it.
This forum and all Christian forums have a great potential to be a mighty witness for Christ, and you have a role to play in that as long as you participate in Christian Doctrinal Discussion and Debate Forums. Just as you ministered to the girl at the hospital, even so you can minister on this or any forum. But, your ministry has to be able to withstand assault, and do so with grace. And while you may be in disagreement in doctrine with some, you still have a role to play as a member of the Body.
If you do leave, perhaps consider spending time on a number of different forums without a decision to stay on any one single forum. We can learn from other members of the Body, this I can say from experience. No matter the doctrinal differences, we can all learn from each other. And if you do leave, keep in mind that there are those here that will miss you, so perhaps reserve room to pop back in to say hello.
